Located in the super quiet Fort Morgan side of Gulf Shores, The Citadel is situated directly on the pristine beach just steps from gorgeous water for swimming, surf fishing, kayaking or paddle boarding. Beautiful updates just completed include a balcony dining ledge to enjoy meals with the best view of the Gulf of Mexico!

Each of the five bedrooms has balcony access for gazing at the beach and surf. The first level of the home features outdoor space for grilling, lounging and dining while enjoying the amazing view of the beach.

WHAT’S NEARBY
Within a short drive you'll find Tacky Jacks for great food, the Mobile Bay Ferry, and Historic Fort Morgan. Yet, we are still close to shopping at the Tanger Outlets in Foley, The Wharf in Orange Beach, or The Park at OWA, where you can catch a show, sample 13 flavors of Moonshine at Murder Creek Distillery, dine at Paula Deen's Family Kitchen, go on heart-racing amusement park rides and play games.

The family can spend the day at Waterville USA and zoom down giant waterslides, cruise around the lazy river, and let the littles ones splash around in WAWA World! Enjoy rounds of golf at Kiva Dunes or just rounds of miniature golf with the little ones in Gulf Shores. Jump and play at The Factory trampoline park or get out on the water aboard a dolphin watching cruise.

Snowbird-friendly!

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Great beach home!

Can't beat location! Great house for large families , fishing, no fuss beach days! Loved sleeping to the aound of the waves and watching the sunrises on the becg. Bring everything (beach chairs/towels/shampoo/soap/tp/ paper towels/etc) House is not well equipped with supplies.

Great location

You can’t get any closer to the water than this house. It is literally just steps to the beach. We loved that each bedroom opened to a balcony. The layout is perfect for a large group. The only thing lacking in this house compared to other vacation rentals we’ve stayed in was the linens. All beds only have a sheet and very thin coverlet (thinner than a sheet) for covers. No blankets in the closets either. There were no kitchen towels and only one hand towel per bathroom. The bath towels and wash clothes were some of the roughest I’ve ever used. I’d still stay here again because the house is so great but I’d pack blankets at least.

Great house but Vacasa did not have power on and it was hot!

House was not ready at check in at 4 pm. The management co. Vacasa did not have the power on and thus a/c was not on. Ice in refrigerator melted onto the floor. Large puddle. House was too hot first full day, and no ice until next day in the afternoon. Deprived of first day of rental. Vacasa refused to make it right. I expected better treatment. The house, once cooled down which took about 19 hours, was good. Ice maker finally made ice then too.

the view and location were phenomenal. access to the beach was perfect! the house had plenty of room for a group of 8 and 2 dogs! room for improvement: balcony door in some bedrooms were off track making it difficult to open and close. we will 100% book this house again!
