This beach side community lies about 1 mile west of historic Fort Morgan. This is an area where residential beach homes far outnumber high rise developments and much of the surroundings remain wild and untouched by man. The distance from the ever popular Gulf Shores hot spots, is what makes Fort Morgan appealing to many of its fans. Others come for the golf or the fishing.

Golf is a huge draw to the area, with over 45 of the potential 200 holes of Gulf Shores area golf being located in the Fort Morgan area between The Peninsula and Kiva Dunes.
