The apartment was nicely furnished. I liked the close proximity to trasportation, shops and lake area. I didn’t like was the bed was a bit uncomfortable and the light for the living area / kitchen kept timing out after 2 mins.
We really enjoyed this rental! Really close to the train station and a well-stocked food market; a few blocks from the lovely, vibrant center of town; easy access to great sandy beaches. Beds were comfy; washing machine was very handy and appreciated. Kitchen was appropriately well appointed. Conversing with the owner / property manager was challenging as most of it came in French only, despite the description that both French and English were spoken by the owner. A huge advantage of this property is that it is on the ground floor of the building. This also creates a small disadvantage in that the kitchen and primary bedroom windows are right on the street level making it difficult to have windows open. Air conditioning worked well so it was no problem.Our wonderful stay was soured a little at the end by a lot of back and forth correspondence regarding a concern that we had failed to leave the second set of keys behind despite the fact we left them in a VERY obvious spot inside the apartment, more obvious than where we found them when we arrived. We felt very threatened with a large expense and it took 3 texts to explain they were hanging on the coat hook right inside the door.All that aside, it was a great experience and I highly recommend this place if convenience, location and comfort are important.
