Locals can enjoy lovely green spaces like Coldwater Canyon Park, which sits at the top of the Santa Monica Mountains, and Van Nuys Sherman Oaks Park, with indoor-outdoor sports facilities for the whole family. Sherman Oaks has a thriving restaurant scene and plenty of nightlife. There’s also a farmer’s market held each Tuesday. Most residents of Sherman Oaks rely on cars to get around, with top-tier attractions like the Santa Monica Pier, the Los Angeles Zoo, and Universal Studios Hollywood just a short drive away.
