About this property

A beautiful open concept design with 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. Home was completely remodeled including all new furniture in 2016. The pool and patio area are exceptionally appointed with an extended lounge area with fire pit and is accessible just off the master suite. There is a full screen enclosure surrounding the pool, and one of the bathrooms is accessible to pool area. The lanai features outdoor color lighting all around for great evening entertainment and enjoyment. Yard is fenced.

Made the best of it

This house and stay was nothing short of disappointing. Although the first impression was that the house was clean, by the first morning we had found roaches (palmetto bugs) both dead and alive in the kitchen cabinets and the bedrooms. The host was responsive and quick to send out an exterminator but the roaches quickly came back. The air conditioner was not allowed to be set lower than 70 degrees in the middle of 100+ degree days in Florida. The furniture was old and worn out. Terrible sunken in mattresses. We tried to spend as much time out of the house as possible but with young kids in tow that’s wasn’t always realistic. The house has potential with a thorough cleaning/extermination and some updated furniture.

Great stay, as advertised.

We were reluctant to provide a great review of this property as we wanted to keep this gem to ourselves! This home is well appointed and suited our needs very well. As retired Canadians fleeing the cold of winter, we were pleased to welcome our sons and spouses, as well as our toddler grandson who loved this home and its amenities. The pool was refreshing, the outdoor area was very comfortable with lots of shade and the backyard very private with palm trees surrounding the property. Our dogs loved the backyard as well and the doggie door gave them the extra freedom to explore the yard as they needed. The furniture inside was very comfortable and even though there were 6 TV’s, the lure of outside was what we were attracted to the most. We hope to return to this property in the future and recommend it highly to anyone looking for a great stay in SW Florida.

Lovely home!

The house was very welcoming. Big home for us six adults, the pool was inviting especially with the lighting in the evening. The kitchen was accommodating for meal prep and refrigerator was large for beverage story. Washer and dryer handy for quick washing after long days on the beach. All that being said, the television on the patio was not working and when we contacted the property manager to inform the owner we were told the owner was aware and it will be replaced. Well, we were told it will not be replaced during our stay- it sure would have been nice to watch a movie on the patio by the fire. (By the way, that did not work either). The other televisions had some issues with the remotes and language display, honestly we just wanted to watch the news but we’re limited to where we could watch. For the most part, this lovely home was enjoyed by all. The owner and property manager should probably take a look over the house before each reservation to ensure the property has all working amenities.

Great house, great location

Fantastic home in a great location. Quiet and away from the main roads, but close enough to access nearby stores, bars, and restaurants. Close to south cape which is a plus! The kitchen has all the equipment you’ll need to put out a spread for the family. House was very clean on arrival, which is always a concern when homes allow dogs. Although the cleaning fee is a little more than most, it’s worth it if you enjoy going into a fresh home. Only thing listing was slightly inaccurate on is the combination tub/shower. They are only showers, we had a small child with us but we were able to easily adjust and make do. The lanai is fantastic, along with the pool and grill. If you have children, or just looking to escape to some warm weather and enjoy a pool over the beach, this is the house for you!

Beautiful, clean home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this property. The house was clean with many appreciated amenities (coffee & filters, beach towels, washer/dryer, etc). Check-in was a breeze and communication with owner was smooth. We would happily come back!
