Welcome to Villa Surfside

this gorgeous, modern vacation home is located in the desirable SW area of Cape Coral and features Gulf Access.
Villa Surfside is located on a quiet but centrally located street, walking distance to Surfside Shops. Did anyone say Starbucks for breakfast? Not to worry, it is a quick walk. The home is about 40 min drive to the Caloosahatchee River, 10 minutes to Matlacha, 40 minutes to Fort Myers Beach.
Our guests can enjoy all that SW Florida has to offer from the convenience of a pristine, well designed vacation home. This villa features 4 bedrooms , two of them are set up with King beds who have their own bathroom. There is also a room with one Queen bed and one with two Twin that share a hallway bathroom.
Villa Surfside can comfortably accommodate 8 guests with ample room to entertain. For your convenience, there is Wi-Fi, Netflix, extra blankets, and pillows, and all of the essentials you need for your stay.
The open kitchen layout to the dining and living room is fantastic for preparing food but being in the middle of everything. The home has two separate living areas where everyone can spread out and if needed different programs for adults or kids can accommodate any entertainment needs.
There is no shortage of outdoor entertaining options at Villa Surfside. The home has ample of outside living space with fantastic seating under the Tiki Hut by the boat dock, lounge area or if you choose to dine under the shaded patio another option is to sunbathe in the lanai on one of the lounge chaises, we are sure you will be enjoying the Florida sun. Boat dock and lift are available for our guests if they like to rent or bring their own boat.
Additionally, there is a small home gym with free weights, treadmill and a weight machine (at your OWN RISK owner is not liable for any misuse of the equipment) as well as plenty of bicycles and a kayak at renters' discretion.

Nice Vacation Home

Excellent rental

One of the best we have rented. A keurig, a crock pot, plenty of dishes and silverware, plenty of towels. A warm pool. A treadmill. A kayak, bikes.We will be back next year. Very responsive hosts.Thanks is all we can say

Over all, nice house. Needs a little maintenance on a few things. Concrete drive way is very uneven. A few of us tripped on it! Light in pool did not work really dark out there when the sun went down . We purchased string lights and put around pool so we could see the kids. Lots and lots of ants in the kitchen.

Not to great vacation

Not privacy, at night noise, near a busy road, not curtains in windows, lights of cars came into the master bedroom so was hard to sleep. No batteries in the master bathroom control remote! Was a storm so they had a leak in the living room, so we had to put a bucket to catch the water coming down. Overall house was good.

Good Get Away

We had a party of 7 and there was plenty of room for everyone. The property seems to be going through some renovations/changes as some things that were missing like curtains/blinds on the front of the house-which also faces the west and gets super bright in the evening and I imagine super hot in the summer. It is also right on the corner of a major road which deterred the children from riding bikes as much as hoped. We did get out and explore in the canals some on paddle boards but it was windy a lot of the time there so we didn't get very far. There was no broom or vacuum on site to clean up throughout the week which was a bummer but they did have extra fans which was nice since the thermostat can't be set below a certain temperature. Overall I would stay in the home again, but it wouldn't be my first pick, but that being said I much prefer the environment in Englewood or Punta Gorda over Cape Coral.

If you’re okay with bugs, indoor rain, and missing amenities, this may be the place for you.

On arrival, we found a bug issue-kitchen and bathroom counters—areas for food prep and hygiene. We contacted Vesteva, they didn’t arrive until the next day after 5 PM to address the bug problem and a pool issue. Under the kitchen sink, we found bug spray, indicating they were aware of the problem. The label warned against using it on food surfaces. The rep suggested we spray the RAID, but we were uncomfortable using pesticides in food prep areas and hoped for a resolution. She promised to return the following day. The kid’s room also had issues—one bed collapsed under my husband due to a string holding it together. The house had large windows facing a busy street without any coverings, allowing heat and light in, while the brackets hung dangerously low. We were told the owners have discretion over design choices, contradicting what was advertised on VRBO. The listing highlighted a home gym in the garage, but it was cluttered with junk, blocking access. During our stay, rain revealed leaks in the dining room ceiling, creating wet spots and paint bubbles. Despite repeated attempts to report this, we were told it would likely happen again when it rains. By Sunday, after multiple unresolved issues, we had to buy bug removal supplies from Home Depot—not something anyone expects to do on vacation. The pool's waterfall feature was also non-functional, fixed only on our last day. Management claimed someone was on vacation, but so were we. After five days, real help was offered only a
