This house was perfect for our group and dogs. This is probably the most well stocked rental I’ve ever stayed at, the kitchen had so much stuff for cooking/eating. Easy drive up to the mountain and the grocery store is only about a mile down the road.
Beautiful home, tucked away in the snowy landscape. Cozy accommodations with plenty of space for group activities and a great kitchen for cooking. We hope to come back and stay again. Great hosts, thank you for letting us stay.
Such a lovely home. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook, bake or even grill whatever food you bring The tub was a special treat to relax after an evening of cosmic tubing . Beautiful walks in the morning. All our adult kids loved playing pool with the gorgeous view out the windows The home is extremely comfortable, the hosts have every detail covered for your stay. We are already planning to stay again next year .
My sister in law and I along with our five teenage boys gathered at The Cabin on Birdie Lane from 2/14-2/18. Proximity to Mt Hood and the amenities of Welches, the amenities of the cabin (pool table, hot tub, board games etc) were all lovely. The pool table by far was the most used item all weekend. Water pressure was great in the showers, and the mattresses and pillows were all very comfortable. The kitchen was very spacious and well stocked with the necessary utensils, dishes and appliances. Would definitely return / rent this cabin again. Thank you Jodi & Philip for a great weekend in your beautiful home.
My family and a few of our good friends joined us for a weekend here. It was stunning and we'll definitely be back! The location, the house, amenities all were perfect.
This was an absolutely beautiful spot for my friends and I to spend the weekend. A great big kitchen that was had all the dishes/pots/pans etc that we needed for anything was the highlight of the weekend.

Spring Break in Welches Or
The home is very nice, accommodated our family well. I booked this place originally for 7 family members, the place listed that it sleeps 16, now it states 10. after questioning the additonal charge of
This house is beautiful & spacious! One of the best equipped homes we have ever stayed in. The pool table & hot tub were a huge hit. Only complaint is the parking is tight. Thank youu for sharing your beautiful home with us. The Bellamy's
We had an amazing stay at this lovely home. Their title is rustic cabin but it is gorgeous and full of nice amenities like a Viking stove and Le Creuset pots (we cook), big screen tv, fabulous 6 ft. clawfoot tub ... the list goes on and on. The view however was the best. Waking up to look through the trees onto the golf course was so serene. It also has a wood burning stove that cranks out heat and a pool table! We just really enjoyed the house so much that we scrapped one day up to the mountain to stay put and enjoy the home's amenities! The only snafu was the check-in process. At first we got a message saying there would be a key under the mat and then we got a message saying what the front door entry code was. Unfortunately I forgot to take a pic of that prior to leaving. There's little cell service up at this house so I wasn't able to get back to the message on my phone. Luckily we found the basement tenant on site and were able to get in. There's plenty of wifi for all 8 of us so we were able to use our phones and gadgets once we logged in. We really hope to get to stay here again!
It was a fantastic time; the kids really enjoyed the house (we had 7 kids under that age of 11) and they were enamored! My only regret is that none of our kids can correctly play the piano that was available. We love the house and its closeness to Skibowl. We definitely fell in love with the place.
Jodi and Phillip are amazing hosts!! We absolutely loved everything about our stay! Beautiful home and very relaxing! Would love to come back!!! Thank you!!!
This place was absolutely wonderful. We had 12 people and it was perfectly comfortable for that large of a group. The hosts let us access their firewood and provided us with smores. Everyone had a wonderful time.
Fabulous property-great location ! Well stocked property with hot tub and pool table . Initially had a misunderstanding about number of guests -but we worked through that -and Jodi’s attentiveness was great . Hoping to stay again❤️.
We all enjoyed our stay this week, the house is really cozy and we mostly just watched tv on the fantastic large screen with a ton of streaming choices. The kitchen was well set up with everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. Our 11 and 13 year old appreciated the wifi and the adults appreciated the space to spread out. This would be a great house in summer too, the fire pit and lighting is awesome. The grocery store is close by for whatever we needed.
Every summer my family and I try somewhere new. This property was by far our favorite! Fully stocked, beautifully & peacefully landscaped, super discrete owners on site and just perfect inside and out. Thinking we may have found our perfect get away...
Thank you, Jodi and Phil for sharing your wonderful home! 💓
Nice location. The Owners were very responsive to our requests. My only reason why I wouldn't give it 5 stars was because the place was not very clean. Who ever they hire for cleaners do not do their job.

Great place for a family escape
This cabin is very well stocked with all you could need for a fun family getaway. Jodi is incredibly kind, helpful and hospitable and does all that she can to make your trip a cosy , fun and successful one!
The property is large and spacious and is in a lovely location with easy access to ski slopes and snow parks, but we went during some significant snow storms and didn't even need to leave the cabin to go to the snow parks because the hilly golf course immediately behind the cabin provided a huge area for our playing and sledding.
The only 2 reasons why I only gave it 4 stars rather than 5 is 1/ because the lighting in most of the cabin is soft yellow lighting, which does give the cabin a wonderful cosy atmosphere, but in the middle of winter when it can get so dark, the soft lighting wasn't good lighting for reading, so there weren't any good places to sit and read a book unless you sat at a table to read, but the other guests were sitting at the tables playing games.
2/ The sofa bed in the main room was very uncomfortable so we ended up not being able to use it which was difficult because we didn't know until we got there that this would be the case, and it made the sleeping arrangements difficult for some of our group.
Other than those two points, everything was great and I'd highly recommend this cabin.
I’d like to start by saying this is a super cute house, very cozy and quaint. The check in was atrocious, however. The instructions on VRBO listing states a key will be left under the mat but we couldn’t locate the key anywhere. I tried reaching out to the property owner multiple times as their phone was off and went straight to voicemail. I’m sorry but if I had guests checking in I’d make sure to be available to them. 20 minutes later I receive a call from the owner and she was very clearly annoyed that I was trying to contact her. She gave us the entry code and as I was about to hang up my spouse and I heard her very clearly say something along the lines of “way to be a f$&@ing trouble already” I was SHOCKED! We paid a pretty penny to stay here and I apologized multiple times for bugging her. I just can’t fathom being disturbed by tenants that are paying good money and are honest about how many guests were staying at their home etc. The interaction was extremely uncomfortable and uncalled for. Maybe be a little bit more accommodating to your guests (and not make them feel bad for not being able to get inside) and we might’ve considered coming back.

Alert****Shared Housing with people living with you** YIKES
ALERT: This is Shared Housing with people living with you in the house in the lower room. YIKES!!!!! Quite a shock!! Upon arrival the front door opens into the middle level, so unbeknownst to me there is a lower ground floor level. As I was in the backyard with my tea enjoying the golf course view, imagine how startled I was to notice a young man milling around the side yard patio smoking a cigarette no less, as this is a non-smoking rental. I was about to call the police for trespassing and then thought maybe the owners double booked. Then I went back in the house where my kids informed me there was a cat in the house! I called Jodi and left a message and she did call back and came over very quickly to get the cat when I realized the property owners must be right there in the lower level. So I found myself in the bizarre situation of me being the renter with very dishonest property owners. Do I tell them to get out of their own house? Or would they call the police on me to leave? So this is a tri-level house, with the renters only having access to the upper 2 floors with shared walls that are not soundproofed. So they can hear you and you can hear everything they do. And what do you hear, you may ask? Coughing, lots of coughing all day long. hacking-up-a-lung COPD smoker’s cough. (The young man smoking should really take note of the coughing as that would seem to be his future also.) And they also have a dog which we heard bark several times. We like cats and dogs so we were okay with them, however other future renters may not be. So if you can get past the people/cat/dog/COPD coughing/cigarette smoke living in the house with you, then the house and golf course scenery is really very nice.

What makes this property unique
THE VIEWS!!! Are breathtaking. It is located on the 3rd hole of the golf course ' The Resort at the Mountain' Our cabin sits up on a hill and overlooks the golf course and surrounding mountains. The windows are floor to ceiling all across the back. We had a pool table built, made of knotty pine with black felt. It is situated right off the kitchen, where you can enjoy a game of pool while taking in the amazing view. We put in a campfire pit complete with log seats for roasting marshmallows and Hot Tub has arrived and placed so you can enjoy the VIEW!
