The cabin sits on a pristine acre of tall cedar and fir trees with stairs down to a private waterfront beach with fire pit. Newly remodeled and updated with a curated blend of both new and vintage finds. Brand new bathrooms, appliances, mattresses, linens, heat pump, and an expanded deck with hot tub overlooking the river. Perfect for families and groups with separate spaces for all to enjoy. Upstairs you'll find the kitchen, 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and a spacious family room and dining area with wood beams, skylights, woodstove, and a vintage sound system with turntable and vinyl collection. The daylight basement is perfect for kids with a bunk bed (double/twin), couch, pellet stove, a second bathroom, and smart TV.

Gorgeous Property for a relaxing getaway

The pictures don't do this property any justice. Upon walking in the front door, I was hit with how spacious the cabin is. It was just the two of us, so we didn't use the second bedroom or downstairs, but it could easily accommodate a large group. It was clean, well decorated, and incredibly inviting. The hot tub on the back deck overlooks the river making for a relaxing treat after hiking all day. And the neighbors are far enough away that it feels somewhat private. I can't think of anything that this property was missing. It exceeded our expectations and made for a comfortable trip. This will definitely be our go to rental when staying in the Mr Hood area.

So much better than the pictures

This is a wonderful property. Its much larger than the pictures show, very clean and very well stocked. Beds and linens were top rate. We really enjoyed the turn table and large collection of old records. The weather was terrible, but we'd love to come back in the summer when we can enjoy the beautiful river front property. property!

Why they chose this property

Its location just an hour from my home in Portland which makes quick getaways easy. I love its location along the Sandy River and all the cedar and fir trees and the soothing sounds of nature. Plus there are many great restaurants and a grocery store within a few miles. It's location has great things to offer year round and is a great base camp for exploring Mt Hood.
