Stunning Deerfield Resort Lake and Mountainview Home

Relax with your morning coffee or evening drinks on our new large deck while looking out on Norris Lake and the surrounding mountains. Our house is located on a on a quiet cul-de-sac in beautiful Deerfield Resort. A paradise for flying, boating, water-skiing, fishing, and golfing, Deerfield Resort has something for you. It features a 3300-foot paved airstrip, an 18-hole championship golf course, two tennis courts, pickleball court, sand volleyball, basketball court, resort swimming pool and a children's playground. The golf course also features a clubhouse restaurant, the Greens Grill, which serves breakfast and lunch. Deerfield Cove Marina offers boat launching as well as the Tiki Bar, featuring a full-service bar and food service. They also have music and kid-friendly entertainment on the weekends. Deerfield Resort is close to Springs Dock and Shanghai Resort for boat rentals, watersports equipment, and full-service restaurants. Just outside the entrance to Deerfield is Deerside Market as well as Living the Dream and Chapman Hill Winery.

Hanke Haus sits on one acre of land and features a private paved driveway with a 1.5 garage and room for numerous cars. The community pool, pickle ball/tennis courts are a quick walk from the home. A large 85 foot wrap-around deck with a large gas grill, dining table and chairs and composite adirondack and tete-a-tete seating provide beautiful views of Norris Lake and the surrounding mountains. There is also a covered lanai with seating on the backside of the house. The large modern kitchen, dining room, great room and master suite offer lake views with access to the deck. On the upper level there are three large bedrooms and two bath rooms. Two bedrooms have queen beds and one with two twin beds and a crib. Bathrooms have hickory cabinets and tiled floors. The private master bath offers a very large tiled shower as well as two sinks. The second bath with a tub/shower unit and two sinks support the remaining bedrooms and is conveniently located. The great room, dining area and kitchen feature open architecture with a wood ceiling and beams that soar 20 feet high. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need.

A large, finished lower level includes recreation area with wet bar, two large bedrooms and a bathroom. One bedroom has a queen bed while the second bedroom has four twin beds. The bathroom has hickory cabinets, tiled floor, tub/shower unit and two sinks. The recreation area and queen bedroom walkout to the ground level patio with additional seating including a porch swing.

Nature sightings are an everyday occurrence at Hanke Haus. Whitetail deer, woodpeckers, bluebirds and red Fox are just a few of the animals you will see. The Chuck Swann Nature Preserve is across the lake and part of the breathtaking view.
