Perfect base camp for the race weekend.
My father and I stayed here for the MotoGP race at COTA. It was less than 25 minutes from the track and anything closer was twice as much money. The house was great, especially for our situation. I took the upstairs master room since my dad doesn’t want to deal with stairs and he had the bottom floor so he could get up early and make coffee quietly. The downstairs bedroom is also set up as an office area and I was a little concerned about the bed as it looks a little like a day bed but once we got there it was plenty large, basically seemed like a queen size bed. Well appointed kitchen with nice appliances so we were able to cook there several nights for dinner. The backyard had a fully screened in, large porch that we stayed up late playing cards with no bugs able to bother us. Really couldn’t be happier with our stay. Anything negative was trivial; there was a wooden cutting board that was broken, likely from a previous guest, and a wheel was missing from one drawers of the dishwasher. Minor issues and the owner was happy that I reported it. Communication was great from the owner. Check-in instructions were very clear and a message the first morning just to make sure everything was ok with the start of our stay. I would 100% stay here again if visiting Austin.
