My husband and I have always loved the mountains. He grew up in the city (Chicago), but I grew up in rural California camping in Yosemite most weekends with my parents, wonderful memories... We wanted to own a special mountain retreat where we could build our family memories while our kids were still young. We love our time in the woods and our cabin has become very special to our family. We truly enjoy sharing our cabin with our guests.

Why they chose this property

We searched a lot of mountain areas and decided that the Flagstaff area had the most to offer - beautiful pine tree covered mountains, close access to skiing, the Grand Canyon and Sedona, a great historic town with tons of restaurants and shopping, and temperatures 20-25 degrees cooler than Phoenix. The town of Flagstaff has a wonderful mix of small-town quaintness and great energy from the young university population. There are fantastic family-owned restaurants, coffee shops and boutiques, as well as all the convenient chain stores we're used to. We knew we wanted acreage with lots of trees (we have enough of 'subdivision life' in Phoenix). We found some beautiful land just 20 mins outside Flagstaff and built our cabin. It was a dream come true for us. We hope your family enjoys this peaceful getaway as much as we have!

What makes this property unique

You will enjoy seclusion, privacy and peacefulness while being surrounded in nature.
