FLIP FLOPS 713 @ The Dawn -1st flr, POOLS, HOTTUB, BEACH

Lovely GROUND FLOOR unit (no stairs!) poolside condo at The Dawn Condominiums in Galveston, TX. Spacious 825sq ft, can sleep up to 5 (4 comfortably). Perfect for a getaway or an extended stay. Recently renovated, part of a fully gated oceanfront community. Just a 3 minute walk to the beach.

Free Highspeed WI-FI with TV + Xfinity cable.

Well equipped kitchen. Full size washer & dryer.

Bedroom w king bed, queen size sleeper sofa. There is also a folding twin size mattress available in the closet for a 5th person.

Professional cleaning team is following CDC guidelines for disinfecting between every guest stay.

The pools, hot tub, and fitness center are open and available year round. The smaller clamshell pool is located by the front office. The larger lagoon style pool boasts a hot tub and grilling facilities.

I also provide beach towels, pool floaties, beach toys, board games and a Shiatsu Massage Cushion Chair Pad is available for your use after a long day of work or play!

*There is a parking fee, to the HOA office. The fee is $40 incl tax PER vehicle for 1-3 nights & $50 incl. tax PER vehicle for 4+ nights. This is not our fee, it is an HOA fee. It is for parking, pool, and gym access for the entire duration of your stay, regardless of length. We want to make sure anyone renting knows this prior to your stay.

Other things to note: Close to Galveston attractions, such as Moody Gardens, several fishing piers, Schlitterbahn water park, The historic Pleasure Pier, the Historic district with the Strand shopping area, post office, gallery strip and a variety of dining and shopping opportunities and of course beaches, beaches, and beaches. Wal Mart directly next door is within walking distance. The Galveston trolley system is currently operating as well (see their website) - it picks up and drops off at all local bus stops along Seawall Blvd. and is $1 pp and does a transfer to The Strand at no additional charge, - returning back you will pay an additional $1 pp (see hours of operation on their website).

No pets - as much as I LUV dogs, this is a rule by HOA and they govern it closely - unfortunately fees will be applied if pets are present.
No loud parties or music - please be mindful that there are full time residents living at The Dawn. Just be courteous!

Great weekend.

My Mother (72 ) and my Grand daughter (5) and Myself (54) stayed the weekend in June 2025. The location was perfect across the road from the Beach. We were right at the pool . Every thing you would want to do is within a short walk or drive . Very convenient.

We enjoyed our stay. The owner was responsive connecting with me when our flight was cancelled and we would not be able to get there until the next day. There was more supplies that what we needed. An excellent Keurig Coffee Maker and we loved the bed! The mattress was very comfortable.

The Dawn is one of the most sought after vacay properties on the island! Boasting clean, beautiful pools, a toasty hot tub and more! Flip Flops is beautifully decorated with great amenities to accommodate. 1st floor for easy access the the parking lot for toting in your luggage, children, etc.

What makes this property unique

Excellent, beautifully maintained location. Our property is very safe, clean and is steps away from the beach. We are a gated community, security cameras, and well lit for your safety. Wal Mart is within walking distance for your last minute needs! :)
