Surrounded by the olive grows of the Monastery of Evangelistria, Villa Polymnia offers a lot of privacy with fantastic sea views to the island of Skopelos. It consists of 2 bedrooms, which of 1 is with a small loft, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, a living room which could be used as a 3rd bedroom. Outside there is a large terrace space for sunbathing after a cool down in the pool. Parking space in front of the Villa. Booking can be combined with Studio Polymnaki.

Rural location rustic villa.

This villa is in a beautiful stunning rural location but by car its less than 10 minutes from Skiathos town and this makes it a perfect retreat but still near amenities. The inside of this villa is a bit dated but it is finished in a rustic style. The hosts are lovely people who were very helpful and knowledgeable during our stay.

A bit disappointing for the price

This is a nice house but the listing is not as honest as it could be. The terrace and pool area is shared with another rental of a studio from the same hosts and the corner area in the shade shown in the photos belongs to the studio. There is no wifi and the air conditioning remote controls were nowhere to be found. There is no aircon downstairs. Upon requesting, they were produced, two days later. The toilet doesn’t flush unless the water pressure is switched on, but you can’t do that if you want to also use the washing machine. We sat in the outdoor sofa and the bottom fell out. When we asked for these things to be fixed, they were fixed but the first response was slightly accusatory that we should have known, would be better off without wifi/ air conditioning/ somewhere to sit. The paint job on the house has been done by someone in a hurry and without attention to detail. We didn’t use the pool, it doesn’t look too enticing and so we just used the house for a place to sleep and spent as much time away from it as possible, which wasn’t a bad idea since we got the sense that we had eyes on us all the time. The owner/ host was there at least once a day. On the other hand, the owner very kindly offered to get some stains out of T shirt and seemed to genuinely want us to be happy, and gave us 2 nights in the adjacent studio when it was available, but without much empathy as to why we felt disappointed and that was not as expected.
