Fabulous views and location

This small home is great for two couples but you should know that toilet paper cannot be flushed. The neighborhood is quiet and remote. You will need to buy bottled water for drinking. The outdoor spaces are amazing. We ate many meals on the patio. The semi private beach is a real hike, the equivalent to climbing 13ish flights of stairs and there was lot of washed up trash. From the road out front, a 10-15 minute walk in either direction leads to beautiful, larger beaches.

"Mamma Mia" what a wonderful place

With Villa Anagennisis a dream becomes true. This villa is a beautiful place fit to the beautiful island where it stands. From the big terrace you have an amazing view to th sea and the phantastic nature. The owner are very nice people which welcomes you with the big greek kindness. The private beach is perfect for swimming and exploring the world below the sea level. It was a wonderful time. Efharisto para poli!!! Family Spath

Toller Urlaub auf dieser wunderschönen Insel. Nettes, abgelegenes Ferienhaus mit wunderschöner Terrasse mit Fernblick. Haben sogar Delfine von der Terrasse aus gesehen. Kleiner, etwas felsiger ‚privat‘ Strand in Laufweite. In 5 Minuten mit Auto am tollen Strand von Perivolu!

Quiet rural island getaway!

We were met at the port of Glossa and escorted to the villa, which was clean, extremely quiet, spacious, and very relaxing. If you want to be in the middle of hustle and bustle of town this isn't the place. It's a bit of a drive on rough roads and there are no neighbors . On the other hand, if you want to watch a peaceful sunrise over the ocean from the patio or sleep in without disruption, this is the place. The description when we rented showed a microwave oven and one bathroom. There's no microwave (but the convection oven worked great for reheating cheese pies) and it is definitely has two bathrooms. Everything worked fine, including the A/C units in the bedrooms.

Das haus ist perfekt für 3 bis 4 Personen. Es liegt einfach traumhaft. Allerdings ist die nächste Möglichkeit einzukaufen und/oder essen zugehen ca. 15 -20 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Dafür hat man absolute Ruhe und beschauliche Einsamkeit mit einem fantastischen Blick aufs Meer. Wir würden unseren urlaub immer wieder in der Villa Anagennisi verbringen. Dank dem hilfsbereiten Gastgeber Michael war der Urlaub ein voller Erfolg.

Best Holiday in Greece

We are a family of 5 and had a lovely time in Skopelos and especially at the villa. We felt as if the whole area around us was booked for us. The villa was very nice,clean, amazing view, our own beach (even though it is "semi private" there were no people). The owners are lovely people ready to help you and give you informartion about the island when you arrive. After 5-6 holidays in Greece on various islands we can definitely say that this one was the best. It is perfect for anyone who wants to get away from a hectic city life. The island is perfect for families with children 12+ and especially couples. Also we reccommend restaurant Plateia in Glossa!

Terrific stay in this beautiful space away from the madding crowd. This is a beautiful island - and this villa at the quieter end of the island. Great and accommodating hosts. Lots to explore in the area - bikes are helpful for this - though the terrain is hilly! Beach - well described - is great for pre breakfast swims. Lovely terrace on villa. Restaurants in Glossa are good. Small but adequate supermarkets + bakeries/deli in Glossa too. Great place for a crash course in relaxation.

Wonderful house, excellent hosts

We spent a week in Villa Anagennisis in July 2016. The villa is newly refurbished (we were actually the second group staying in the house) and very well-equipped (barbecue, kitchen, air conditioning, TV, WI-FI, washing machine). Everything is new and clean. Cleaning service is available mid-week, and clean sheets are available in the house as well. The villa has a fantastic panoramic view overseeing the sea and a very nice private beach just 5 minutes walk on a foot path. The beach is small, quiet and with crystal-clear water. We very much enjoyed the morning swim at the beach. One who stays here must see the sunrise from the villa's terrace. It is truly a breath-taking view. Mike is a very good host, he provided us very useful information on the island, which helped us discover the beauty of Skopelos. Villa Anagennisis is definitely our no. 1 choice when we come back to Skopelos.
