Incredibly unique bungalow house built in the 50's with the touches of retro and beach combined. This property is on a quiet street in Old Encinitas area and has incredible ocean views! Each room provides individual character to match the Southern California laid back lifestyle. The entire house has a great ocean view that includes fabulous living spaces, a beautiful backyard and a carriage suite with a private coffee bar , entrance and patio for enjoying sunset ocean views. In addition, there is a full deck and backyard for additional entertaining or grilling.
We have kept the character of the house by keeping some of the retro element yet mixing the "vibe" of Encinitas into each room.
The house is approx 1 mile from the world famous downtown Encinitas , Moonlight Beach and easy access to the freeway.

Exactly what we wanted

This home was wonderful. It is close enough to everything, while still being far enough away to be quiet. I don’t think we had to drive more than 5 minutes to get anything we needed. On a clear day you have ocean views and amazing sunsets, with lots of outdoor seating. My family got together for a little holiday getaway, and it was exactly what we were looking for. Comfortable beds, lots of space (but still cozy), and I think brand new appliances. Everyone was incredibly happy with our stay. We had a few questions during our stay and the host was very responsive. I would definitely book this home again!

Comfortable for a Long Stay

My husband and I spent 6 weeks in this lovely home located in a residential area. The house is spacious and furnished with a fun beach vibe. The owners were responsive to a couple minor concerns/needs. Beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well furnished for cooking, and the view of the ocean in the distance is beautiful. The location to everything Encinitas has to offer was great.

Lovely stay!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. The home is beautiful and clean and in great shape. The yard was very nice to relax in! It was easy to cook in the home and it was stocked with beach towels, a cooler, beach toys and umbrella/chairs. We so appreciated that. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood very quiet. The location was great, a quick drive to wherever we wanted to be. The owner was very sweet and met us there. She had even left a card and some fruit to start off our stay. She checked in a few times to ask if we needed anything. Will definitely stay here again if vacationing to the area in the future.

After 15 years, we have converted this home to a vacation rental and hope that you enjoy its " zen" like charm and happiness that it provides. You can sit on the front patio and see all the people walking just to enjoy this special "old " Encinitas charm of neighborhood.

This house is in the heart of the old Encinitas with the original pine trees and located off of Crest area. It is on a quiet dead end street and has fabulous ocean views!
The charm of the house is reflected in each room and represents So Cal surfing culture.
The upstairs master has a carriage suite with full coffee bar , TV, fridge and microwave.
