Lovely 1800 sq ft single level home, (a few steps up), large patio on Oceanfront in Encinitas! Available year round for enjoyment in style. This one has 1 master with a King bed, a set of single bunk beds, and one bedroom with a Queen bed!, The master bedroom has an A/C unit and both bedrooms have ceiling fans. Two private bathrooms. Oceanfront, with stairs to the beach only 3 houses over at Stone Steps Beach and a jacuzzi on the deck. Short distance to Moonlight Beach! Two car parking off street in driveway. Fantastic views from living room, dining room and kitchen! Soaring ceilings, knotty pine, and a fireplace. This gorgeous home is adjacent to the Historic Pacific Coast Highway, (not too close), but easy walk to down town, and to restaurants and boutiques, with immediate access to the white sandy beaches. You can also take a walk to Moonlight State Beach, with permanent lifeguard headquarters, tennis court, modern tot lot, concession stand, fire rings, showers and public facilities. Moonlight Beach is the focal point of all summer activities in the city of Encinitas. Neptune Ave is a location for a relaxing beach vacation within city limits! Enjoy the soothing sounds of the waves while enjoying the jacuzzi spa watching the boats, dolphins, and cruise ships float by. Beautifully landscaped exterior. The kitchen is fully equipped, with many extras. The sun room faces the sunset ocean views. The patio has a dining table for 6, and is just outside the indoor dining table. A barbeque is on the deck too. Comfortable seating arrangement with cable, new smart TV and fireplace in the living room. The formal dining room is also on the oceanfront side of the home, Get your chilled wine, or tropical iced tea, and sit back- Blender, is provided for those that prefer a margarita. Great family destination

The property is perfect for a family of 5. It came with everything we needed. The views of the pacific are unmatched. The house was clean and met all expectations. Nice house in great location

House was very clean and the kitchen well furnished with anything you'd need. The deck and sun room are fantastic, though some of the furniture in the rest of the house is a bit dated. if you're renting this house, the deck and sunroom is where you'll be spending most of your time so that doesn't matter much anyway. Beds were comfortable and access to the beach was just steps away. We would definitely rent again in the future

EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS!

We had a fabulous time in this wonderful home with an amazing view of the ocean!!! We were treated to dolphins swimming and playing in the waters right behind the house on several occasions. The home is surprisingly spacious and very well equipped. We lacked for nothing! The host and managers were remarkably gracious and the communication was excellent. We would LOVE to return to this beautiful ocean-front gem!

Great Location

While this home is older (1950s construction), it's kept up fairly well and has a great deck. While it's lots of stairs down to the beach, you can't beat the accessibility to the water. The beach is a cliff so it's important to note that it really isn't accessible at high tide. House was the best stocked home we've rented. Everything that could want was there. It was clean. Check-in is easy. View is amazing.

Spectacular ocean view

Chose this one for the view. Loved being able to look out and see only the ocean and sky. Interesting eclectic vintage decor. The hall mirror does take getting used to. My sister-in-law and I were very happy and enjoyed ourselves. It was comfortable and we felt safe. Did have to walk to Moonlight Beach to access the water as the stone steps were closed due to repairs. But we had a great time! Family members in the area dropped by and were excited they were able to spot dophins in the water below. Just wish there had been more than one roll of paper towels and an extra trash bag liner as we had to recycle the one provided. Would definitely stay here again!

My Mom rented this house for a vacation last spring, and my husband and I drove down to meet my parents there. There is something special about this home - the views are to die for, and the home itself is 'above and beyond' other vacation rental homes. Lots of care and attention to detail, and there wasn't a single thing missing. Sometimes when you rent a vacation rental home, the place isn't all that well equipped with basic things like tin foil, TP, soap or what have you. Not so with this home. You arrive here after a long drive or flight and feel 'right at home' for a good few days before feeling like you need to go shopping for anything. Basic spices are in the kitchen, and anything you might need seems to be covered in a way that is well thought-out. This really makes a big difference in terms of feeling well cared for in a vacation rental home. It's all in the little things - handy lists of where to get good take-out food, interesting things to do and so on. The owner of this home has put some real effort into making guests feel welcome and comfortable. Meanwhile, this is a beautifully cozy space, with an amazing view of the beach below. There are a million wonderful books on the shelves to read, and you feel enveloped in comfort. Just as an aside - my Mom forgot something when she checked out, and she called - and the forgotten item was in Las Vegas within one day - where my Mom was staying en-route to go home. Very, very good service. This is the one vacation rental home that I would want to visit again. Just amazing. Recommended for a mini family reunion or a romantic vacation on the beach. Watching the surfers from the deck was a real treat. Just loved this place! Highly recommended - am thinking of renting it myself for my upcoming anniversary.

Encinitas Heaven on Earth!

We had the best time! The charm of the cozy and spacious cabin feel, backdropped with the Pacific Ocean. The warm fireplace in the living room, and the bright sun room, made it our favorite beach house stay yet. Stunning deck and views. A rainbow and dolphins! We noticed and appreciated every detail of this charming house - the pocket door, the pull out cutting boards. Everything you need will be ready for you. It is the first time we have ever went to sleep in a VRBO where it felt just as comfortable as being at a family home you were visiting. The kiddos love the bunkbeds! We hope this VRBO beach house will be around to book for many years to come, as we continue to make family memories at the beaches of San Diego county! Thank you so much - it was perfection!

We loved staying here. We’ve stayed at a dozen different places when we visit the San Diego area and this is our favorite so far. My kids agree. The house has character. It’s close to the places we wanted to visit. It was quiet. People we ran into on the street or at the beach were friendly.

Incredible ocean view

We loved staying in this home overlooking the ocean. The kitchen had everything we needed, we walked to Moonlight beach and town (about 1 mile to town). We had coffee in the morning in the front room overlooking the ocean and watched the sunset on the deck.

Relaxing honeymoon experience

We stayed here for part of our honeymoon and had a great experience overall. Eileen was super helpful, kind and communicative throughout the booking process and during our stay. The view from the porch was spectacular! We spent a lot of time watching the ocean. The house was very clean and tidy. One issue was the master bed, not very comfortable to sleep in for us. There was also an issue with the washing machine, but Eileen offered to fix the problem immediately when we let her know what was going on. The house is dated, has older furniture and carpet. All of the houses in the neighborhood are very close together, you can easily hear neighbors talking. Overall, a wonderful relaxing stay and we appreciated Eileen’s response time and help.

Perfect getaway

We arrived to a clean and organized home. Plenty of room for our family. Kitchen was stocked pretty well. Oils and seasonings aplenty. There was loads of clean towels and beds were clean. Tons of sitting space in every room to relax and listen to the ocean, some friends stopped by for dinner and the beach, we truly enjoyed this home. We would definitely visit again!

Perfect stay

Beautiful, classic Encinitas home. For some might be a bit dated in the wood paneling and all but we loved the authenticity and sounds of a subtle crashing ocean day and night. Eileen was amazingly responsive in coordinating our stay both before and during, you will not be left on your own if there are any questions or issues. Take note of the bedrooms and their layouts as we misinterpreted them based on the pictures and had to make some adjustments from our original plans but it all worked out perfectly. Perfect in-between spot from the sights in San Diego to places in LA (went to Universal Studios and Hollywood) made travel very easy to what we wanted to enjoy. Will love to stay there again on future trips to San Diego!
