About this property

2 bedroom Cabin near lake St. Helen and all the ORV trails

This is a recently updated 2 bedroom cabin with 1.5 bathroom. The first bedroom includes one queen bed, the second room includes one queen plus twin bunk beds. There is also a sofa queen sized sleeper in the living room. The cabin can sleep a total of 8. There is an open floor concept living room and kitchen, and also a full back room for more space! Washer and dryer also included. Linens provided for your stay and convenience.
Our cabin has a full kitchen which includes a full sized fridge, stove, coffee maker and microwave.
Keys to the 1.5 car detached garage are also provided so you can store any ATV.
If you're wishing to fish or swim, the DNR boat launch and beach area are within a 3 minute drive.
You are also within a 10 minute ride to multiple ORV all season trails and state land for hunting!
Gas grill also provided. Plus a fire pit for your pleasure and enjoyment.
The television is a smart tv with capability to connect to your phone for hotspot internet, a DVD player is also provided.

Peaceful and Relaxing

We wished our stay would have never ended, the location was so peaceful and relaxing. With the view of the woods right across the road, there was constant deer action. Every day we had deer coming over to visit us with their fawns, it was so awesome! The house was very spacious and clean, the only minuses was there were no hand towels in the bathrooms and my son is 6ft 2. There are built in bunk beds in one of the rooms which he hit his on head a lot, he asked to sleep on the pull out couch but there were no extra linens for the pull out.

The bed fell apart

The 1st night one of the two queen beds fell on my parents. We tried to fix it, but it didn’t have proper slats, just a couple pieces of 1x2 that weren’t made for the bed. The 2nd night it fell in again and my parents end up cutting their vacation short and left a day early. I contacted the owners after we left about it. They said I should of contacted during my vacation stay, and refused to do anything more about it. The owner did say the next people who came contacted them about the same thing (while still there) and they fixed it.

Great stay!

Everything about this property was accurate. Neatly decorated, very clean, well maintained, Comfortable beds. Slept 7 adults comfortably. Our only advice to future guests. We could not connect to the WIFI due to lack of signal. Simply used our mobile Hotspot instead. Also, upon arrival there was no water. However, we did find a black cord labeled "pump" in laundry room (we assumed it was the well pump because after plugging it in, everything worked as it should) Great simple getaway.

Great winter getaway!

I stayed here with my family of 5 (3 kids-6, 4 and 1) and everything was great! We played in the snow and enjoyed each other's company. Definitely recommend!

Comfortable, great location.

The home is comfortable and the location is great. Close to trails and the lake. We saw deer in the yard every morning and evening. The home is as described. Check-in process and communication were also excellent.

This is a family owned cabin, we share it between 3 families and take pride in all the work we've done to update it. We try to spend as much time as we can in St. Helen, but with kids and work its not always a lot of opportunity so we want to share the fun with others.

Why they chose this property

This cabin is within minutes to the boat launch, beach and many ORV trails! Or, if you are looking to be somewhere close to shopping or dining out in West Branch, its under 20 minute drive, as is Houghton lake!
