We had such a wonderful stay! The house is better than described in the listing. It’s homey and cozy, and beautifully outfitted for a perfect weekend. Our host Michelle was lovely to communicate with, and she even had the house stocked with continental breakfast items for us, and a Penn State gift basket. We were visiting our son for Family Weekend, and it was so nice to have a homey and comfortable place for all of us to spend time with him in a great family room and game area. 10/10 stay, we would love to come back!

The home was perfect for our weekend getaway to catch the downtown Happy Valley festivities and the Football game at Beaver stadium. Upon entry to the kitchen area, we were pleasantly surprised to find a PSU themed gift basket with wine, snacks and drinking cups. There was a nice stash of fresh breakfast items in the refrigerator. The hoe was clean, and each bed had a chocolate placed on the pillows. We highly recommend this Host and the property for any getaway for Penn State festivities, Skiing or a nice countryside getaway.

We grew up right here in State College! After spending a few wonderful years living out West in Leadville, Colorado, we relocated back home to Pennsylvania to be closer to our parents and lifelong friends. We acquired this spacious 2,300 sq. ft. retreat to serve as our own family base for visiting Happy Valley, and we love sharing it with fellow alumni, university families, and game-day visitors when we are away. Because this is our personal home-away-from-home, it is fully equipped with everything needed for a seamless, comfortable, and memorable stay.

We have rented many places over the years and deeply understand what makes a vacation rental truly exceptional. We know the frustration of properties that feel like sterile, empty spaces where you only go to sleep. That is why we chose this specific neighborhood and property.
