3 bedroom nice home in Burg-Reuland

This detached vacation home is located on the Belgian-Luxembourg border, in the beautiful Our river valley, between Burg-Reuland and Ouren. You live only 100 meters from the German border and 3 km from the border with Luxembourg, so just barely in Belgium. German is spoken in this border triangle, as well as in all the eastern cantons of Belgium, which form the High Fens to the north. Here you can enjoy not only the peace, fresh air and beautiful nature, but also the good food of this area. In the varied surroundings you can walk endlessly and enjoy wonderful wide views and cozy valleys. By car, the cities of Clervaux, Vianden, Diekirch, Monschau and Luxembourg are nice destinations for a day trip. Trier is also definitely worth a visit if you are interested in historic marketplaces or want to visit the Porta Nigra, an almost completely preserved Roman city gate. In your accommodation you will find detailed tourist information and brochures and hiking trails. The house is built on a slope, so you will reach the actual living area via a staircase. On this floor is the living room with open kitchen and access to the balcony and terrace. In the living room, an open staircase leads to the second floor with the bedrooms and bathroom. Please note that the bunk beds in one of the bedrooms are not suitable for adults, as they are only 1.90 m long and 0.80 m wide. The cottage is spacious, bright and wonderfully comfortably furnished, including a leather sofa and chairs in the dining area, a large flat-screen TV and Wi-Fi. On the south side of the house you have a lovely balcony where you can enjoy the sun until late in the evening. On the back side there is also a sheltered terrace. In front of the cottage is a beautiful valley with colors that change in every season, which you can fully enjoy from the living room and balcony. The cottage is the ideal place for those who love nature and a relaxed life.

Fijn huisje en mooie omgeving. Wel fijn als er iets van buiten zonwering aan de voorkant van het huis zou zijn, want het wordt erg heet in de zomer. Is eenvoudig aan te brengen. Huisje was schoon, maar de badkamer kon echt iets netter. Vloer even dweilen, douchecabine goed schoonmaken. Nuttige tip: het water is erg kalkrijk dus het is echt geen luxe om regelmatig de waterkoker met een scheut gewone azijn door te koken. Meeste kalk is dan weg en kan je de waterkoker ook weer gebruiken. Waterkoker zat helemaal verstopt. Kleine, maar toch belangrijke tips. Verder zijn we erg tevreden.

Genieten van rust en natuur

Zeer rustig gelegen woning met zicht op de rivier wat verderop. We hebben enorm genoten van het verblijf, alles was voorzien. Op 12 minuten ben je met de auto aan de winkels in Luxemburg. Wandelingen kan je starten vlak voor de woning, dat is tussen knooppunt 81 en 82 (duidelijk aangegeven).

Mooi vakantiehuis in heel rustige buurt

Alles aanwezig in het huisje, wij waren met 4 volwassenen, heel rustig gelegen, qua poetsen kon het net iets beter, wat potten en pannen nog moeten afwassen, oven niet geheel proper... maar och... al bij al een heel leuke vakantie... ook mooie dingen te bezoeken niet te ver weg
