This condo was everything it is advertised!! So very perfect. We loved the easy access to the pool and beach. Beautiful condo, great decorations and fantastic location. We had so much fun, that I have already booked again for next year!

We absolutely loved this unit! The ground floor access was amazing! The location was super close to many restaurants and stores. The only complaint at all was that all of the beds were horribly uncomfortable. It was like sleeping on bricks. Other than that we had a great stay!

Spring Break at Orange Beach

Our family had a great experience at this Romar Place property. We chose the ground floor unit so our three kids had easy access to outside and weren’t trapped by a higher level patio. That turned out to be a good choice. Plus it was SO great to be so close to the pool and the beach- better than expected actually. This was our first time to OB and we all loved it. The beach is incredible and it’s overall very family friendly, including this condo complex. The unit worked well for us and we would come back.

Great location!

The location is absolutely the best. Short walk to the beach, pool access from the front door and the back door. The location is what would have is rent this location again! Condo was not very well cleaned. There was clothes under 2 of the beds that looked worn from the previous tenants. Lots of dust bunnies under those beds as well. The table was a piece of plywood with a table cloth over it. Not what you would expect for the price that was paid.

Nice place BUT

Condo was great but we checked in and no one told us about the bracelets next morning the lady in charge was very rude to my daughter. She called me and I went to office and told them no one gave us bands or said anything to us about them probably last time staying here be going to the beach at least once if not twice a year for 30 years now never been treated like this.

Perfect for Families

The condo is steps from the gate to the pool and beach access. Huge outside sitting area with a big table. Has outdoor access from living room (2 sliding doors) and 1 from master bedroom. Plenty of closet space. Master bathroom is huge. Other bathroom has tub for bathing kids. Front TV is a smart TV and bedrooms had cable. Property Has indoor pool, which was perfect when it was raining outside. Outdoor pool has an area for toddlers to play and can touch. They provided a starter kit for kitchen/bathrooms so we didn't have to rush to the store for supplies right away. Will for sure look to book again in the upcoming years.

2023 family vacation

Great location to the beach, pool.. all the guest were family’s, so the vibe was very low key. Everyone was quite after about 10pm.. the location to restaurants and activities was very close..with the exception of a couple minor items(nothing of issue) the fridge and stove could us updating, and honestly that wasn’t a huge deal. The property was great.. one small complaint, the property manager woman was an absolute pool Natzi.. I’ve never been to a pool that you couldn’t have a pool football or even a ball made for the pool… she was not having it.. also you couldn’t have a drink even is a can in the pool.. so sitting or standing in the pool having a beer in a koozie wasn’t allowed.. you had to be in or around the chairs.. again not a huge deal but a bit over the top I think.

Senior & Child Friendly

This condo is cute and perfectly fine but the building is not for Adults, traveling without children, who want to have a good time on vacation, IF they want to SLEEP WELL(rock hard king bed, painfully hard, try out the sofabed hard), COOK MEALS(our refrigerator failed and spoiled $500 worth of food causing the whole condo to stink, but a guy who was not happy at all did bring us a new one at 9pm, which then sat in the middle of the dining room for the entire week, but more importantly not one person apologized for the inconvenience!) ENJOY THE POOL (no drinking anything in the pool or around it; it closes at 10 & it's filthy, particularly when the landscapers come at the crack of dawn to edge around our patios and allow the debris to blow directly into the pool, where apparently no one maintains it) Now, not as important but, if you are a smoker or vaper, you may not smoke on your patio or balcony and there are cameras and owners around to enforce this and threaten eviction. There is however, a smoking section near the BBQ grills next to the corner condo which happened to be a family with small children who played outside constantly, so that's unfortunate for them, I suppose. And there are jellyfish in August, so be prepared for that. Because if I had read that anywhere, I wouldn't be writing this review. Again this is all about the building, maintenance, and overall environment. The condo itself is perfectly fine aside from the extremely hard bed and failing refrigerator.

Regarding the pool and its maintenance, we're disappointed to learn about your experience and wish you had reached out during your stay so we could relay this information to the building's facilities maintenance to address. They are responsible for the building and grounds maintenance, and they are quick to address any issues when they're reported. The smoking policies for all guests are in place to ensure the comfort, cleanliness and enjoyment for everyone and we hope you understand the necessity for these guidelines. As for the jellyfish, we wish they'd stay away from shore as well but their presence, along with all of the marine life in the gulf, is unpredictable and they come and go as they please. The beach flag system along the gulf coast is very helpful in planning ahead and if you sign up for beach alerts, you'll receive a text and email each day with an update. Your comments are invaluable to us, as they help us identify areas where we can make improvements. We want every guest to have a comfortable and enjoyable experience, and we'd like to invite you back for another beach getaway. Beautiful walk-out Condo with Beachview

Easy check-in process. Condo had everything needed for our week stay. The lanai was great for meals and we had a beautiful view of the beach at ground level. The access to the pool and beach couldn’t have been any better. Some of the furniture pieces were a little worn, but nothing that really mattered. Would definitely book this condo again.

We loved staying here. It was easy access to get to the pool & beach, not too crowded, and the weather was perfect. The condo suited our needs and the best part was the location. We can't wait to come back to Orange Beach & stay here again. Highly recommend!!
