The unit was perfect for my wife and me, our son and daughter-in-law, and our two grandchildren. Paris was experiencing a heat wave during our visit, with highs above 90 degrees F during most of our stay. While the unit doesn't have central air conditioning, the owner provided a portable in-room air conditioner for each upstairs bedroom, so we stayed very comfortable. The main unit has a great living room and dining room for family time.The house is spacious and clean, and is actually divided into two separate units (you walk through an outdoor courtyard to move between them). Each unit has a kitchen with modern appliances, a bathroom, and a washer and dryer.The house is in a quiet neighborhood that's a little run down, but felt safe. The LaPlace RER train station with direct service to CDG airport is about a one-mile walk away, but there are a couple of pretty steep hills on the route. The Hoptial Bicetre Metro stop is just over a half-mile away, and an easier walk. There are also several bus stops within a 5 minute walk. There's a pizza restaurant right around the corner, and an ALDI grocery store about a half-mile away.Communication with the host was excellent. We'd definitely stay here again.

I chose this neighborhood because it offers the perfect balance of peace and incredible accessibility to the heart of Paris.

The transport here is exceptionally convenient: you can take the T9 tram directly to Choisy-le-Roi, and the RER C station is just a short 50-meter walk away. From there, the RER C takes you straight to the Eiffel Tower (Champ de Mars) with no transfers! It’s a quiet, local neighborhood that makes exploring Paris’s most iconic sights incredibly easy and stress-free.
