Only an hour outside of Boise, The Modern Bear Cabin is just a quick 5 min. walk to Terrace Lakes to golf, swim in the hot springs pool, enjoy the restaurant & bar or do some sledding in the winter months!

A little bit about the cabin:
There’s a master suite on the main floor with its own shower & bathroom. This room also includes a seating area with a futon.

The living room has a comfy sectional with a TV with a firestick to watch Netflix, Amazon, etc.

The dining table seats up to 8 people when it’s extended. Additional fold out chairs can be found in the laundry room.

The kitchen has everything you need to cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You’ll also find plastic dishes & silverware for kids. We have basics such as coffee, sugar, spices & hot cocoa that you’ll have access to using.

Around the corner from the kitchen is a deep freezer & a washer and dryer with soap & dryer sheets available to use.

Upstairs are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. One bedroom has a queen size bed while the other has a twin over full bunkbed.

You can find additional pillows in the master suite closet.

While you will have access to the basement it is not finished & we currently do not have any furniture down there.

The garage & a basement bedroom are locked to store owners personal items.

IMPORTANT:
The Modern Bear Cabin is around other properties, please do not venture onto private property.

Please communicate your arrival times accurately so we can keep you updated on road conditions in the winter months.

Modern Bear Cabin is equipped with individual baseboard heaters throughout the cabin. When you arrive turn the dial to your desired temperature. NOTE: Keep items at least 3ft away from heaters to avoid fire hazard. Guests are responsible for any damage that results from a fire or items placed too close.

The wood stove downstairs is a back up heat source only in the event of a power outage in the winter.

No animals are allowed in the cabin.
