Thank you so much! We are so happy you had such a wonderful experience! We would gladly have you as our guests again!
It felt like a comfortable family home. No wifi so it was hard to do some business but it made more time for just us. Our kids came to visit and we had so much fun talking and laughing, playing games and just walking the property. I would love to stay there again.
Spectacular owners, kid friendly, CUTE house. We stayed 3 nights (with kids) completely comfortable with enough space for everyone. Host was super accommodating! Fun pond in the back and space for kids to run around.
5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It was nice meeting you and hope to see you again!
My Family and I had a great stay at this property. The house is fully stocked with everything we needed. Very peaceful location out in the country but 15 min from big city action. The owners were very friendly and kind. We hope to be able to stay here next time we are in town. My new favorite place to stay when in Portland.

The cottage was perfect. Cozy & beautifully decorated. The surrounding countryside was quiet & peaceful. We even saw a doe and faun on the front lawn one morning. Truly an ideal getaway.

A sweet and cozy home, stocked with amenities to make your stay easy. A lot of time and thought has gone into ensuring all a guests needs are met. Although there is not Wi-Fi, I was able to use a hotspot when I was able to get the 5G signal to stream Hulu and Netflix.
Close to shopping and restaurants in Hillsboro. Overall a great location. Secluded, private and peaceful!
The beds were comfortable, the snacks were a nice touch, thank you! We will definitely be back if we have need in this area again.

Thank you for your kind words. So happy your hotspot worked for you! We would love to have you stay with us again!
My husband and I spent five nights at Country Roads guesthouse and we are glad we did! Annette is a very gracious hostess and a pleasure to talk with. The home is exceptionally clean and has everything that one might need. We found it to be spacious and nicely decorated. Also, the bed was very comfortable. There are plenty of games to play and books to read. There are toys for toddlers and a really cute kids room decorated in a cowboy theme. The Koi pond in the back was a bonus. We also got to see a doe and her fawn in the yard on two occasions. Learning about the history of the home and looking at the photo album with before and after pictures made the place seem extra special. Everything about this guesthouse is great and we definitely plan to book it again in the future.

About the host
Hosted by Annette Lucas
Eric and I have been married 41 years and this was Eric's home growing up. We have almost 50 acres that we share with our children and grand children. As a retired couple, we work together help to maintain the grounds so once in a while you might hear us working outside.
Why they chose this property
This property has very special meaning since its been in the family for 5 generations. We are so happy to share it with our guests and provide a nice vacation experience.
What makes this property unique
We love how the home was remodeled enough to update but kept its charm! The arched entrance to the kitchen was built by Eric's father as well as the hand laid oak flooring that has been revived!
