New in 2021 Heated Salt Water Pool and Spa on Marble Lanai, with screened enclosure. This side-by-side home is 7 years young, and fully equipped with appliances, linens, 2 kayaks, 2 bikes - just pack your bags for this vacation rental! Don't forget to BYOB... Boat that is! Free use of ramp and slip, with shallow canal access to Matlacha Pass and Charlotte Harbor/Cayo Costa/North Captiva islands. Bokeelia is truly a forgotten paradise... once you drive over the bridge through Matlacha, you'll feel the vibe... fishing village, festive shops, variety of dining options, parks, sunsets, canals... you'll be surrounded by happy wildlife... dolphins, manatees, eagles, osprey, egrets, herons... even 2+ resident Gopher Tortoises on our property (look but DON'T touch or feed!) Even the Palm Trees love it here (Pine Island is the palm tree growing capital of the region!) Be aware there are no public beaches on Pine Island, which is surrounded by Gulf waters and bordered with mangroves. Ferries available to the barrier islands, one hour drive to Ft Myers beach. Our home and neighborhood were spared any water surge from Hurricane Ian, but the winds were destructive. We were very fortunate. After roof replacement and new lanai screening, we've added areca palms to our borders, and our home is back and better than before 🌴

Our stay at Dee’s place was awesome. Home was exactly as advertised and beautiful. Totally enjoyed the salt water pool after long days on the water chasing Tarpon. We look forward to returning again soon.

Large clean, super equipped house with great pool and turtles

Communication and Check in worked perfectly. Kitchen well equipped, great pool , great BBQ and it is fun to see the turtles built their nest. Owners are very friendly and helpful.

Spring break fun in the sun!

We had a wonderful vacation here! The pool and hot tub were relaxing. I loved the tile around the pool very nicely done! The house was clean and cozy. We enjoyed being able to stream on the TV with our apps that we have. We drove to Sanibel island one day. It was also nice to use our paddle boards in the nice channel by the house. We made it all the way out into the sound! Thank goodness you had paddles because we forgot ours! Our son used one of the bikes to ride around the neighborhood. Definitely a 10/10! It was nice to meet the owners too!

Beautiful property. ChatGPT We recently had the pleasure of staying at Pine Island Center, and it was nothing short of total relaxation. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with every detail carefully thought out to ensure our comfort. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms spacious, kitchen well equipped. Very clean. Outdoor heated pool and whirlpool perfect. Hosts are warm, welcoming, and available to answer any questions.

Relaxing stay

Hot tub and pool were lovely, hosts are very nice. Unfortunately some of the art galleries, etc we were looking forward to visiting as listed on Pine Island tourist info were not there or shut down, so not much to do if you don’t fish.

amazing family vacation

Staying in this vrbo home is far superior to a hotel. We did both on our trip to florida. This house was so clean and a perfet fit for our family. The pool was a huge hit and the amenities of the kitchen and washer and dryer made our stay so comfortable . Pine island is so quaint with an old Florida feel. Small mom and pop spops delivered us amazing meals and endless entertainment.

The property was clean, well kept and well stocked. The photos were a little nicer than the actual quality and I guess I didn’t notice beforehand that it was a duplex. But well located, convenient to most everything, kayaks and boat docks were a big plus! The owner was responsive and easy to communicate with. Good value.

Beautiful

The home was beautiful and clean. The neighborhood was good with a boat launch across the street. The gopher tortoise was not nice. He would run so you see him. The pool area was perfect and after a long day enjoying everything the hot tub was great to relax in. The owners were great to deal with. Communication was perfect and they were quick to respond with any questions. Definitely will book from them again.

My family of 4 enjoyed our stay at this wonderful duplex! The house was clean and spacious and felt like home. The pool area is what makes this place 5 stars! The location was less than 5 min from Publix which was great. We would definitely stay here again!

We love this rental! The neighborhood was so nice n peaceful. We weren't to far from the Marina to see the sunset and from Matlach.. of course my daughter love having a pool which was great for the days that were raining she would get in before it rain.. house had everything we needed. one of my favorite vacation home would rent again. A Dream Vacation Home

The only way to describe this property is AMAZING VACATION HOME! We have traveled and stayed at may places, but this has to be the BEST ever! Everything was fantastic and the cleanliness of this home was off the chart. I usually have to go into places and clean before I feel safe, but not here! This house and it's pool was truly a Dream Vacation! We love this place and cannot say enough about how AMAZING it is! We will be back for sure!!

This was an awesome rental! Very quiet, clean and comfortable. Location close to Pine center. Lots of nice extras. Relaxing pool/spa area. Great neighborhood for bicycling and close to Stringfellow paved path. Hated to leave!

Perfect for a birthday getaway with a friend!

First trip to the Ft. Myers area and this VRBO rental on Pine Island surpassed all my expectations!! It was truly an amazing place to celebrate a birthday. The house was clean, the kitchen/dining room/living room/bedrooms were all upscale in their furnishings and feel. We just loved the screened-in outdoor area with the pool/hot tub/firepit/gas grills/ covered eating area. A fun bonus was that the owners even provided pool floats! I can't even remember the last time I laid on a pool float - the kids always had them! We even saw the stars at night while floating in the pool. And we had fun riding bikes (there are four in the garage) and meant to use the kayaks in the waterway across the street (there is a single and double kayak in the garage too). It was also wonderful to have the option of doing laundry while we were down there - large load washer and dryer also available. The long-term guest living in the other half of the duplex is a great resource about the area and gave us restaurant suggestions, told us which beaches to visit on Sanibel and Captiva and mentioned a nice restaurant on the end of Pine Island where we caught a beautiful sunset and sunrise the next morning. I have been raving to friends and family about what a special place this cheery duplex is on Pine Island. You'll want to come back again and again!

Birthday/Needed getaway

We very much enjoyed our time at this location, this was a new adventure for us (we are avid beach people). The pool and spa were amazing, very relaxing! The bed was extra comfortable for the much needed rest from our hectic work. Just an FYI we did catch and release the lizard that found his way in 🙃 If you're a boat person this is definitely the place to stay, for us it was very nice for relaxation!

Spring getaway

I have tried to find the words for this experience. It was a A++. It was the most relaxing vacation i have ever experienced. Very quiet. Not crowded everything you need is literally within minutes away. We took 2 family members with as well and the were amazed as well. If you think the pictures are mazing it is 25x more beautiful in person. I meet some amazing people and everone down there on the island were very friendly and helpful on helping you around.
