Beautiful property with all the accommodations necessary. Well equipped kitchen, and the hot tub and fire pit were beautiful. The deer and wildlife were just as described too!

Very clean place. Nicely decorated. Feeding and having the deer so close to us was a great experience! The fire pit and hot tub a plus. Great nature getaway!

Everything was great, the only thing is the curtains around the hot tub do not stay in place when the wind blows. Hot tub was excellent! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Pleasant short stay in the mountains

A lovely house with a nice kitchen. Plenty of young deer to feed in the late afternoon and also saw a couple of foxes! Very convenient to Desoto State Park and Desoto Falls.

Best cabin ever

We stayed there twice and I would love to go back today if i could! The cabin is a very good size, has everything you need, it is very clean....the deers on the backyard are simply out of this world and we also got some snow one night! It was magical!

This was a awesome getaway! Clean, large tv, comfortable beds, loved the large walk-in shower. We were amazed at the amount of Deere that stayed close and enjoyed seeing fox circle property. Loved the hot tub!

Perfect place to stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The living room was so comfy, the kitchen had everything we needed and the bedrooms were just right for our family. The kids especially enjoyed having their own tv in the back bedroom. The fire pit area was inviting and we saw the deer several times when we were enjoying the hot tub and fire pit. Communication with the owner was easy and helpful. We look forward to staying again. Thank you for making this stay the best!

Wonderful stay!

Enjoyed the cottage very much! My 8 year old grandson had a blast feeding the deer! There were at least 7 deer, one fox and a groundhog spotted in the yard on Thursday evening. Thanks for the memories!

Took the family for a quick escape. The property was rustic and beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Quick drive to cute town of Mentone. House was clean and very cozy. Lots of deer in the surrounding woods that visited us every day just before dusk- the kids loved it. Fire pit and hot tub were also a hit. Great property.

Very cozy Christmas cottage!

My family and I wanted a cozy mountain Christmas, and this listing was perfect. It had a full kitchen which we used in abundance. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. We were able to explore the beautiful property, and loved the deer that visited daily! The cottage is super close to Fort Payne so we were able to get groceries when needed. We also enjoyed being so close to DeSoto Falls! We cannot wait to come back!

Lovely Visit with Grandkids

We had a lovely visit to Mentone and Whitetail Cottage was the perfect setting. The property is just as presented in the guide. Plenty of room for grandkids and myself. We enjoyed playing the games each night after a relaxing soak in the hot tub. The kitchen is roomy and has all the equipment needed to prepare a meal. A+ rating on cleanliness and care to details! Seeing the deer each afternoon just added to a wonderful visit. We will be back soon!
