About this property

The smell of salt fills the air

The smell of salt fills the air. Sunshine warms your skin. Sand between your toes. Amazing sunsets. Sitting just across from the waters of the Gulf of Mexico on Manasota Key, this RV makes for a romantic beach getaway. Come stay with us for the whole Winter or just for a day. Modern, tasteful and stocked with all the comforts of home. Two bikes, a tandem kayak, beach equipment, fishing poles, propane grill are all here for you. A 3 minute stroll to waterfront dining and live music.
We are just a call, text or email away. Our top priority is that your vacation is peaceful and relaxing so we keep the intrusions to a minimum. On the day of arrival, the lockbox code will be sent to you once your accommodations are clean and top notch. Upon booking you will receive a letter that further details your accommodations as well as the area.
This area is perfect for walking and bicycling. Immediate, deeded access across the street or grab the chairs and walk .3 mile to Englewood Beach. Stump Pass Beach is a must see and 1.9 miles from home. It has a bike rack for convenience. Walking paths along the water's edge through the cascade of trees lead you to the tip of land where Lemon Bay meets the Gulf of Mexico. The sunsets are absolutely breathtaking. Great location for shelling and shark tooth hunting. Do not be surprised if you spot a manatee swimming by through the clear, blue waters. Dolphins at play are a common sighting as well. Nature lovers are certain to appreciate the setting. Manasota Beach aka Middle Beach is less than 2 miles and is a secret treasure with limited beach goers. Perfect for a picnic or day of catching up on that New York Times bestseller. Rest. Relax. Dock suffered damage from hurricane, scheduled to be replaced 2024. Please use dock at own risk and with caution.
With dedicated beach access just a short stroll across the road, the location of this space could not be better. Load the cart with your cooler and towels and enjoy some much needed salt therapy. Meander down the private lane, with the fishing poles in tow, to the shared dock on Lemon Bay. The dock is used minimally by the other residents however. Dock suffered damage from hurricane, scheduled to be replaced 2024. Please use dock at own risk and with caution.Sorry we cannot accommodate private boats. The fish are biting and it is not uncommon to spot a manatee or two floating by. The RV sits adjacent to the Owner's home but we assure peace and quiet. Mature landscaping surrounds the space creating your own isolated oasis. You will find this home to be in pristine condition. Up the three steps and the space is quite welcoming. The living area features a pull out sofa, fireplace and cable television with a DVD player. Surely most of your meals with be prepared on your propane grill outside but the kitchen has a gas range, microwave and a refrigerator/freezer combo. Fire up the Keurig and sip your morning Joe outside in the lounging area absorbing the ambiance of the area. Sleep comfortably in the queen sized accommodations in the bedroom. Cable television here too if you prefer to sleep with background noise. You will find the bathroom to be spacious and the shower accommodating with an interior seat. For those who prefer an active lifestyle, hop on the bikes and explore the 11 mile Island. Please be mindful of cars because of the narrow roads. Explore the waters, either Gulf or Bay, on the tandem kayaks. Don't forget your life vest. Dining, spirits and entertainment just a 3 mile walk or a free ride on Stumpy's cart. Don't forget to tip your driver. Whether you are seeking relaxation, activity or a combination of the two, this is the perfect destination for you! Due to Hurricane Idalia the dock isnt currently open, repairs pending .
Englewood is a quaint community that is known for Mom and Pop shops as opposed to franchise and big box stores. Manasota Key has several unique dining experiences with live music and entertainment nightly. Manasota Key Road extends the length of the 11 mile island. Hugged by an oak canopy, it makes for a great sight seeing trip whether by bike or car. The road is narrow so proceed cautiously and be mindful of bicyclists and pedestrians. Give a ring to Stumpys for a free ride. The driver works on tips exclusively.

Perfect location
The location is fantastic - not far from the restaurants, but in a quiet location. Bikes were really helpful if you don't want to walk. The beach is 2 minutes by foot and provided kayak gives you an instant access to intercoastal. I only wish it was warmer during our stay... I personally liked the limited space in RV as everything was at hand and there is a plenty storage space as well. Very cozy. We slept well - bed was comfortable and the expandable couch as well (I was with a teenager). This place is a hidden gem on the Manasota Key and the price is just right! The only thing - do not try to cook too much, the smoke alarm went off a few times when making breakfast on the stove.

Rental Agency No Communication Stolen deposit
Host does not respond on the app. vrbo help had to call them multiple times to facilitate check in. Cleaning Lady unlocked the combo lock with the Key for me hour after waiting at 3pm for check in. They still have my 500 dollar deposit have to repeatedly initiate contact for any response. This listing should not be bookable due to fraud / negligence. I have a perfect rental history all over the world not sure why they can't act professionally. The unit is fine just there isn't updated instructions for check out (like there no washer to clean the sheets) or there is no shed to lock the bikes. Lack of Attention to detail on their part.
