This property was INCREDIBLY DIRTY. We did not stay. We opened the door to go in and there was a bad smell. The carpet and walls were so dirty my feet stuck to the carpet and hands stuck to the walls. The property was “For Sale” and it DEFINITELY needs to be removed from the VRBO site. We’ve used VRBO many times, this place was HORRIBLE!

Review of this VRBO Pro: Good location, quite neighborhood. Con: Agree with the reviewer that stated this should be out of the VRBO pool. Photos are clearly not accurate. The carpets don’t look like they have been cleaned since installed decades ago. Not even vacuumed. There were bug carcasses on the floor. The carpet was completely stained, and then patched with foam and other carpet pieces on the stairs, not covering carpet tack strips between the bathroom and bedroom, leaving tacks to be stepped on. The Bathroom sinks don’t drain, and the shower stalls are stained and filthy to the point of being dust laden on top. All the light fixtures are filthy. Look up. The popcorn ceiling, of course is dated, but the ceiling in the kitchen above the stove is both burned and there are hanging tendrils of dirt. The windows are dirty and seals are completely dirty and the curtains don’t cover the window in a room. To add the final insult, there was a live cockroach in the bedroom and closet. Of course, advertised with a washer and dryer which it doesn’t have. Every surface needs to be redone and replaced. Putting a pack of smarties on the pillows don’t make up for not cleaning this place. We were stuck there due to the eclipse making lodging difficult.
