Peacefully secluded, yet close to a very cute downtown area, you'll love the nearby parks, playgrounds, tube/canoe rentals, antique shops, cafe', brewery, and the river that runs through it all!
Just renovated in a modern boho style, our home offers you comfort and relaxation for your family vacation, fishing trip, or girls weekend retreat! We aim to offer year round amenities for our guests- such as amazing fall colors/hikes in the woods, snowy serenity, springtime view of the river, and endless summertime fun and sun on and off the river!!
* Please note that we have security cameras outside for the security of our property and our guests. Our intention is not to monitor regular activities, but simply to have record of any unfortunate situations. Thank you for understanding.
** A safe route to our riverfront is not currently accessible. THE BACK OF OUR PROPERTY HAS A LARGE DROPOFF THAT COULD BE DANGEROUS. We have taken precautions to make our guests aware, but PLEASE watch your kids. This wooded rural river area is known to inhabit poison ivy, wildlife, and lots of bugs! Please plan accordingly, and stay away from unmowed vegetation just to be safe!

We liked the location, and we liked the place in general. Our problem was with the poor conditions of the beds in the house. One was so bad that my brother in law had to pull the mattress off the bed and set it on the floor in order to get a halfway decent night sleep.
What a wonderful visit we had! The house was clean, comfortable and met our needs perfectly! A lovely, quiet location in the woods provided a very relaxing getaway🙂
We had a great time at the beautiful Waggos! If we could say anything, it's that the pictures don't do it justice, because it is very nicely decorated, and everyone loved it! I would recommend it to anyone who wants to be out in nature, and in a beautiful place!
The house is beautiful and the property is in a perfect location to find fun for the whole family. The Buckley family is so kind and accommodating. We are grateful to have gotten the chance to stay. Thank you so much.

About the host
Hosted by Connie Buckley
Scott owns a construction company, and Connie is an RN and Younique presenter. This husband and wife team is based primarily in Muskegon, MI. Between them they have 5 kids and 2 grandkids. This family loves kayaking, camping, swimming, biking, and taking nature hikes. Anything outdoors! Also, they appreciate the comforts of coming home to a warm cup of coffee and cushy spot to read a book, or have a fun game night of competition with the family! This vacation rental and its amenities reflect those values.
Why they chose this property
Waggos was built by Scott himself in 2012. After moving to Muskegon, he and Connie decided not to sell the house because they knew how much they loved the area and that the house had potential for future use. So in 2021 the time had come to update the house and add on some amenities to make it really special! Opening for guests in summer 2022, the property offers a secluded and welcoming feel, yet is only a few minutes from restaurants, shopping, and parks.
What makes this property unique
We love our vacation home, and we sincerely hope you thoroughly enjoy yourselves while visiting! We designed and transformed every bit of it ourselves! Please feel free to message any time with questions, concerns, or suggestions for our future guests. We are always look for ways to make Waggos even better :)
