Lilly's Loft at Spring Creek Ranch

Make some memories at this family-friendly place. Lilly's Loft is a two-bedroom apartment with fully equipped kitchen. Sleeps four comfortably in two queen beds, two twin beds are available to set up to accommodate up to a maximum of six guests. Spring Creek Ranch is located on 17 acres with woods to explore, a spring fed creek (the headwaters for the Sacramento River), expansive lawn to enjoy, fruit trees, views of Mount Shasta, and a pasture with goats in the summer. The owners live on site in the original 133 year old historic home (built in 1890) which is undergoing extensive restoration work. Lilly's Loft is located in a new two story building, the first floor is a woodworking shop, the apartment is on the second floor. There is a pool on-site with a barbecue and outdoor fireplace available to guests. The town of Mount Shasta is three minutes away, with many shops and restaurants. There are many options for hiking, fishing, and playing in the snow depending on the season.

Our stay here was the highlight of our entire vacation! Carrie and Brian (and the dogs) were the most gracious and thoughtful hosts we have ever had. The apartment is beautiful and the welcome food and drink features were appreciated. We enjoyed the cocktails on the porch time and walking around the ranch. The only downfall is that it is going to be really difficult to find anything this wonderful in the future. If you get the opportunity to stay here you should grab it!

Great place for family

This is a really special place. The hosts have anticipated every detail and more. The kids loved the creek, pool, dogs and feeding the goats, as well as a wood working project in the woodshop. Carrie and Brian were very accommodating hosts.

Amazing property, gracious hosts, convenient location

We made a trip to Shasta with our two young boys for a fabulous weekend of skiing and sledding, and our stay with Carrie and Brian was a highlight. We're city folks, so their property was a perfect retreat – lots of land, a tractor, a creek, and a wood shop. The loft is brand-new construction, spacious, well-appointed, and very private. Carrie and Brian are friendly, organized, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. They even invited the boys to take a woodworking class in the shop where they made beautiful cutting boards to take home! We're really pleased with our stay and are already thinking about when we can make our next trip to stay with Carrie and Brian.

An exceptional experience. Apartment is thoughtfully designed with spectacular attention to detail...roomy open floorplan with private bedrooms, high ceilings, state-of-the-art HVAC and air filtration, large refrigerator, delightful morning and evening views, excellent lighting. Exceptionally clean. Location is quiet, scenic, and relaxing. Hosts Carrie and Brian are welcoming and every interaction with them was delightful. A wonderful vacation destination!

Brian and Carrie are the best. It was the PERFECT place for our family. Our kids named and fed the goats, we had great coffee (thanks Brian!), Gin and Tonics, great conversations, and just an amazing experience. I can't say enough about the kind hosts and great location. Pool, creek, walking paths, puppy dogs, games, movies, and food recommendations from hosts, etc. Close to everything in town or on the Mountain. Just do it!!

It was an unforgettably special stay. Carrie & Brian's hospitality made us feel immediately at home. Our kids loved the pool, petting the goats, and befriending the dogs. Brian's morning coffee set us off on the right foot every day. Our 9-year-old son said it was the favorite place he has ever stayed, and he's been begging us to return ever since we left. We'll be coming back as soon as we can.

The Best Mini-Vacation EVER!!

We all LOVED everything about our stay at Lilly's Loft at Spring Creek! Our grown son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren we brought with us for their very first family vacation had surpassed our wildest dreams - the entire family did not want to leave!! Everything about the location, atmosphere, sense of relaxation to either swim in the pool for hours, play and explore in the picturesque creek on the property, play ball on the huge grassy area, go hang out with the goats who were a hoot to watch and feed... all of these activities we never got tired of and needed at least 2-3 more days staying at this magical place to feel even remotely close to having our fill. The days spent at Lilly's was so therapeutic for all the adults and the children, and we will DEFINITELY be back!! THANK YOU, Carrie and Brian - you two are the BEST HOSTS and we are grateful to you for a truly special trip up to Mt. Shasta City!!

Super Family Friendly Amazingness

We planned on this place being great based on the pictures and description but I can tell you it completely exceeded our expectations in every way! One of, if not the best, short term rental we have ever stayed in. Carrie and Brian were amazing to work with. They were communicative and helped keep us up to date on weather and things happening in town. They even invited us to join their community 4th of July pool party and bbq. Their property is amazing. Our boys loved it, from our 13 year old down to our 4 year old. So much to do on property. It was hard for us to leave. We cannot wait to get back there. Also, they made us a meat and cheese plate and left it in the fridge as they knew we would need a little something after we arrived later than expected. They take care of you like you are long-time friends.

Spectacular oasis

Having been in the hospitality industry for over 30 yrs, I’ve become quite critical. I must say from the moment Carrie started communicating with me when I made the reservation and until we checked out, she and Brian could not have more the perfect hosts they were. They’ve gone to no expense when they built their VRBO and have equipped it with everything you will need during your visit. I will definitely be returning and sharing my wonderful experience with all!

My Shasta Retreat

Lilly's Loft at Spring Creek Ranch is an amazing experience. This was my second stay and will always be my first choice when visiting Mt Shasta. The property is beautiful and quite diverse. On one side are numerous fruit trees scattered throughout a spacious lawn, the other side a serene pine forest and stream running through the property. The rental unit was quite spacious, clean, well maintained and well stocked with everything I needed save a few groceries which can be purchased just a short drive away as the property is only about 1 mile from town. Welcoming, kind, thoughtful and responsive barely begins to describe the hosts Carrie and Brian, they are truly wonderful people. Beginning each day with lattes and conversation with the two of them was a delightful way to begin each day. Lilly's Loft has become my Shasta home away from home. Thank you Carrie and Brian, hope to see you soon.

Great Family Vacation Spot

My husband and I and our kids stayed here for a week and it was a wonderful time! My husband was there for work at Mercy Hospital which was a quick 5 minute commute by skateboard! Our kids enjoyed open space, little trails by the creek, feeding the goats who were there to eat the pasture, making wood projects with Brian, and swimming. This location was amazing! It was a quick 5-10 minute drive to shops and restaurants and also to beautiful Lake Siskiyou. We loved the green open space and Carrie and Brian were great hosts! We had everything we needed and more. We would definitely love to stay again and enjoy the beautiful view and hospitality.

Idyllic Shasta Retreat

This property was a perfect fit for our Shasta stay. Beautiful serene, pastoral surroundings- fruit trees, pine trees, creek, expansive lawn and meadow complete with grazing goats. The location is less than a mile from downtown Mt Shasta, very convenient for grocery shopping and restaurants yet you have the feeling of being safely and peacefully tucked away in the countryside. Although we spent several days just hanging out on the property (it truly is that nice) we did enjoy time at Siskyou Lake which is just a short drive away and hiked a few trails along the base of Mt Shasta also a short drive from Lilly's Loft. The 2 bedroom apartment was spacious and clean with updated appliances that were in good working order. Our hosts Carrie and Brian are a lovely couple, kind and friendly and live on the property. They were available at all times to answer questions and take care of any needs if they were to arise. We were touched by their hospitality and thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them during morning coffee hour on their porch. A delicious cup of Brian's coffee and friendly conversation was a beautiful way to begin each day. We frequently visit the Shasta area and feel we have now found our home away from home at Lilly's Loft. Looking forward to our next visit. Thank you Carrie and Brian.

Beautiful Property and Phenomenal Hospitality

The loft itself was extremely clean, well appointed, and comfortable with high ceilings and views of the gorgeous ranch around it. Carrie and Brian are such incredibly warm and welcoming hosts. We honestly felt like family. My daughter had a great time doing a woodworking project with our hosts in the shop below the loft and swimming in the adjacent pool. And we loved having porch-side chats with our hosts in the morning and evening. The property is conveniently close to the downtown and surrounding natural wonders. We'd love to head back in the winter and experience the area in the snow. Thanks again for such a perfect end to our vacation!

Immaculate two bedroom gem - perfect for a family!

The apartment was super clean and spacious with very comfortable beds for our family of 5. Kitchen was perfect to cook breakfast. Brian and Carrie were wonderful hosts for our one night stay - morning coffee, guided tour of the ranch, feeding the goats, access to the pool, etc. Their hospitality was off the charts! We highly recommend and wished we stayed longer.

Incredible Stay

Our only regret was not staying longer. Carrie and Brian were fantastic communicating through the reservation process and coordinating arrival times. They are fantastic hosts. The listing description does not do justice to the amazing family compound. Well situated for hikes, mountain biking and winter cross country skiing, we would absolutely stay again. Big thank you to Brian and Carrie!
