Beautiful, quiet, and clean property with comfy beds & fantastic view off the deck; close to town; and perfect communication from host - highly recommend this location!
Great stay for about 4-6 people. There is only one shower so it was tight with 8 people. The property was clean and check in and check out was easy. Also had kitchen essentials well stocked. Beautiful view of the lake!
Wonderful house overlooking the town of Grand Lake, the lake and the mountains. Fabulous view from the porch. The house was very comfortable and the kitchen was great. The owner responded very quickly when I had questions. Quiet surroundings. 5 min to town and entrance to RMNP. I have no complaints. It was a great place to stay while exploring RMNP.
My family and I had the loveliest stay at this cabin. The views at Blue Spruce Vista are even better than the photos. It was the perfect mountain reset for our spring break with the kids. The best part was waking up to that panorama of Grand Lake every morning with a coffee in hand. Lovely cabin and great hosts.
Our 9 day stay was a bit rainy so the spacious gravel parking area was nice to eliminate mud. There is a great drop zone just inside the door with a mat for shoes and lots of hooks for jackets, backpacks, etc. Although it was rainy every night, we enjoyed the beautiful view watching clouds drifting low over Shadow Mountain Lake every morning after a good night’s sleep in the comfy king bed upstairs. If you are old fogies like us, and enjoy reading from a real book with paper pages, you might want to bring your own reading lamps and extension cords. The only image on the VRBO site is a guest photo showing the present living room arrangement with no lamps or end tables. We questioned the owner about lamps before we left home and received an immediate response. We were able to get some packable LED floor lamps from Amazon before we left on our trip. There were a couple of other issues we had while visiting that received immediate responses from the owner. We come to Constitution Week in Grand Lake every year and it was very convenient to drive from this location to events held at the Grand Lake Center, going out to dinner in town, or heading up to Granby to the train museum.
Myself and five friends spent the weekend at the Log Chalet as part of an annual ice fishing weekend. Everyone loved the place. Great views, plenty of room, and a perfect location. The host was great with communication and helped provide what was an overall amazing weekend.
Amazing views of shadow Lake, Grand Lake and the surrounding mountains. The log cabin chalet is a confortable stay conveniently located next to the town of Grand Lake.
Everything was set up so nicely. We really felt at home. The host was welcoming and the check out was easy. Walking distance to downtown, ice skating on the lake, and walking distance to the mountain market. All the bedrooms were great and cozy. The kids loved the bunk beds. Pet friendly . With a wrap around porch . Great views. Definitely going to stay here again
Great view of the lake and mountains beyond. Well equipped place for an extended stay while visiting the quiet part of Rocky Mountain NP. Perfect for eatly morning access for wildlife viewing, and a great place to relax after.
We had a great time like always in Grand Lake. The view from the house is amazing and beautiful!!! The house was a good size for all of us and would definitely recommend.
Our family much enjoyed our stay! Very clean and great location near the national park and shops in grand lake. Was a great place to relax at the end of the day, and the host was very responsive.
