Come visit us at Hickory Hideaway nestled in the mountains of Southern West Virginia! Conveniently located within 15 minutes of many of the WV adventures. New River Gorge National Park, Summersville Lake, Hawks Nest & Babcock State Parks, Carnifex Ferry Battlefield and Winterplace Ski Resort. Offering whitewater rafting, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, boating, skiing, fishing, hunting and more! If you are looking for adventure or a relaxing stay, we have it all! We are located in Mount Lookout, WV. The property is located 2 miles off of US Route 19, less than an hour from I-79, I-64 and I-77. Cabin sleeps up to 8. Rates are based on 4 guests, there is an additional guest fee per night for bookings with over 4 guests that you will see when checking out. The cabin is secluded on 2 acres on Meadow River Farms, with nice yard and forest cover. Spacious back porch with 6 person spa and sitting area. Master bedroom has a king size bed, 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed and 3rd bedroom has 2 double beds. Master bath has walk in tile shower, 2nd bathroom has tub/shower combo unit. Great room with electric fireplace and picnic table dining area. Spacious kitchen with island for social activities. Washer and dryer and other accommodations. We are pet friendly however we must be notified and approve the pet as you are booking your stay. There is a Dollar General conveniently located within 2 miles. Check out is at 11:00 am unless we have approved a late check out. Checking out late will without prior approval will result in a double cleaning fee. Be sure to check out our discount for week long stays!

Great weekend in this peaceful paradise. This is the perfect spot if you just want to get away and enjoy some peace and quiet. Residence had everything I needed and the hot tub and fire pit make it a perfect retreat. If you want to get out and about; New River Gorge and Summersville are both close by. We are a family that treasures what West Virginia has to offer in its scenic beauty of mountains and valleys. Enjoying the great outdoors and the four seasons is something that we would like to share with others. We live on an operating Christmas tree farm and enjoy the family traditions.

It is quietly secluded in Meadow River Farms, somewhat remote but readily accessible to West Virginia's greatest tourist attractions and adventures. The cabin offers the serenity of quiet country living with modern accommodations.

What makes this property unique

Our cabin is newly constructed with all modern amenities and accommodations while having the feel of being in a remote setting. The great room provides a large area for families to gather and enjoy away time together. From custom painted corn hole boards with area attractions to an outdoor fire pit with chairs, you will feel right home staying with us. You can watch the deer and squirrels in the backyard from the hot tub as you enjoy sitting on the spacious back deck. It is centrally located on a 2 acre lot surrounded by trees.
