House was very clean and well-stocked, with a cozy interior and very comfortable beds. Host made it easy to check and check out, one of the best experiences I've had in that regard.
This was the perfect stay for my group of friends. It was clean, well stocked with all the things you would need, comfortable beds and rooms and decorated so fun. We walked to downtown multiple times and getting a Lyft was also fast from the location. The communication throughout was fantastic as well. I would definitely stay here again!
This house is a labor of love and it shows!! Very comfortable and spacious. Excellent location for downtown shopping and other attractions. Definitely would stay again!!! A huge thank you to the owner for preserving such a wonderful house!!
This is a cozy home and we enjoyed our stay. We walked downtown and to the capitol, and our dog loved the nearby park. The host was friendly and kind, and it was great to have an easy checkout process (we were asked to leave sheets on the beds, etc.).
A couple of quick notes: while there are beds for 12 people, I really think that no more than 6 would be comfortable, given that there is only one bathroom. The beds are okay, but not great.
We arrived around 5:00 PM on Christmas Eve and were very disappointed to find that there was no hot tub, a major amenity that was included in the listing. It was certainly one of the reasons we chose the house and our kids especially were very disappointed! We asked our host about it and when she got back to us a couple of hours later, she suggested we leave and offered to refund us. This was, of course, not an option on Christmas Eve and we stayed as it was our only option. But it would have been nice if she’d offered us even a small refund as compensation for the mistake. Or at least an apology! We payed over $800 for 3 nights. The house was cute but the communication with host and the lack of concern that a major amenity included on the listing was missing left a bad taste in our mouths.
Amazing home with so much space inside. Close to everything … you can walk to shops, games, restaurants etc. 10/10 on all scales … great host and communication as well!
Great location downtown Denver close to everything.
The house is close to everything. Really convenient if you intend on going to a Broncos game. Parking on street is great. I was able to park in front everyday during a long weekend. Place was clean, and cozy.
If you are looking for something close to downtown, this is a good location. Host was nice and accommodating. House was smaller than we anticipated, but it worked out.
This is a smallish but tastefully decorated/ restored home in an up and coming neighborhood. This home is quite charming but felt a bit crowded. As noted in the property detail there is a private residence on the other side of the kitchen door. At times we could clearly hear the occupants and assume they could hear us.. Overall we had an enjoyable stay.
We loved staying in Rachel’s house. Our group of friends found everything just as it should be and too many personal touches and comfort items to list that just made it perfect for us all. Rachel was attentive to our communications and handled our every request with prompt kindness.
Great rental close to downtown and Capitol Hill. Parking was easily available. Rachel was great at communicating and the rental was clean. I will definitely use this place as a rental in the future.
This house was a total gem! Super cute decorating inside. Everything you could possibly need to stay here long term! Rachel was an EXCELLENT host! We really enjoyed how close it was to the freeway to be able to navigate the state. Super cool to stay downtown near all the shopping and excellent food places. Very quiet neighborhood. Will definitely look this one up again next time!

About the host
Hosted by Rachel Woodard
Hi, I’m Rachel! I'm originally from Georgia, but Denver has been my home for the past 14 years. I love creating beautiful spaces and bringing people together, always with the hope that guests feel welcomed and at home. Hosting gives me the joy of offering travelers a place that feels both inspiring and grounded, with thoughtful touches that I hope make you feel truly cared for. In my free time you'll find me hiking, mountain biking, salsa dancing, practicing yoga, or planning my next international getaway.
Why they chose this property
Lincoln Park is my favorite neighborhood in Denver. I love the unique historic homes, tree-lined streets, and proximity to downtown and the arts district. There is a unique sense of community here as well - I actually know my neighbors and enjoy street parties and chili cook-offs throughout the year.
What makes this property unique
This unique property was built in 1887 and I fell in love with it the first time I saw it. It was bland and uninspiring at the time, but the huge arched window, high ceilings, and hardwood floors drew me in and I spent the next year refinishing the hardwood floors, painting the whole house, and curating a collection of vintage furniture to give it just the right look and feel. I hope you can feel all of the love that went into this home and enjoy it just as much as I do.
