About this property
Shenandoah Mountain Cabin
***Relax and enjoy STUNNING views of the Shenandoah Valley from your covered deck, hot tub, or large glass doors in this spacious, well equipped cabin. CLOSE to SNP, Shenandoah River, 20 min hike to waterfall, private, wood stove, 2-level deck w/upper part covered, hot tub, firepit, leather reclining couch, wheelchair accessible. VERY unique.
2 Bedrooms, 2 full bath, vaulted ceilings, ceiling fans, wood stove, leather reclining couch, custom cabinets, upgraded fixtures - and an amazing view. This cabin has it all!
You'll have the entire place to yourself!
Other things to note:
ROAD AND VEHICLE: While the cabin is accessible for a normal car, we HIGHLY recommend a higher clearance vehicle like an SUV. Subaru's and RAV4's are common, but many other vehicles are also on the mountain. We offer an SUV (free of charge) to guests who prefer to use it for the final mile to the cabin.
PETS: Pets are welcome (there is a pet fee). There is a pet disclaimer, so please review policies regarding pets under the House Rules.
AMENITY USE: We work hard to keep everything fully operational, but occasionally appliances & equipment such as dishwashers & hot tubs, etc can malfunction. We will service & restore these amenities as quickly as we can, but will not make any rental concession for time without these items. Please follow all guidelines & policies regarding use of amenities in order to keep them functioning properly.
BOOKING MINIMUM: 3 night minimum to book all holidays, 2 night minimum for all non-holiday dates.

About the host
Hosted by Brian Hughes

We are Brian and Susan Hughes. We started coming to Rileyville in 2012 and fell in love with it. In 2016, we began construction on our first cabin and since then have added a few more. We live just west of Richmond. We enjoy our grandkids every week. We love being a part of an amazing church - Passion Community Church (pccwired.net) and we get to Rileyville as often as we can!
Why they chose this property
Shenandoah Cabin has one of the most unique views on the mountain. You can see a substantial section of the train in the distance, as it moves through the valley. You can catch the stunning sunrise, see an quaint church in the distance, and the river - all from your perch at bird-soaring levels!
