Awesome stay! Will stay here every time we are in town.

The house was fantastic and everything as advertised. The process was very easy from start to finish and the host was very easy to work with. Perfect place for any group including our large family gathering. Would definitely recommend staying at this property if you can.

Great location, house is beautiful - and outdoor space is perfect

The covered porches were plentiful, the backyard so inviting. Owners keep a lot of items on hand that help your stay. Owners very responsive. Overall, great experience. Definitely would stay again!

Great Place

This was a super place to stay for our family of 13 including 4 children age 2-6. The children were entertained dawn to dusk and slept so well because they were exhausted. We had our intimate wedding here under the pergola and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The dining table sat 9 adults comfortably and we we able to eat while the kids entertained themselves.

Angela, I am a bit bewildered at your 4 star rating. You may feel this is a good rating but in over 3 years of hosting and well over a 100 plus stays, on 2 different platforms, you are the very first to leave less then 5 stars. I am proud of that because I strive to offer the best experience possible to my guests with a property truly unmatched in the area. I also engage in open and honest communication and hope for the same in return. However, you misrepresented the amount of people staying at the property when booking. Additionally, I allowed you to have a small wedding on the property, so that you could avoid renting a commercial venue for such. I even honored your late request for an early check-in, at no charge. However, you and your group then took it upon yourselves to move all of the out door furniture, to include 2 BBQ grills, multiple flower pots and planters, patio tables and at least 15 different patio chairs etc, placing all of it on the side lawn. All of this is breaking the clearly written house rules. You left multiple items of these out of place causing us to have to haul everything back into its proper placement, which increased our cleaning time. There were pool loungers left with rips and broken as well as pool floats destroyed. None of which you mentioned to me had occurred. I am happy to hear you and your family thoroughly enjoyed your stay at the property. From your review and feedback, it sounds like you couldn't have asked for more. I am sorry we could not earn your standards for 5 stars.

Family Vacation

Beautiful Historic Haymount

We rented the property for my out of state family to stay in over Easter and it was everything we could have dreamed of. The home and pool house are beautiful and well appointed. We didn't need anything but food, as toiletries and towels were provided. The host is an angel and quick to respond. Will absolutely be booking again for future family gatherings!

A Week with Friends

The house was perfect for our family and friends. We had 13 total and the house accommodated them very well. The pool area is very quiet and secluded. The beds and linens were comfortable. All appliances worked fine. The pool house worked great for both gatherings and an additional bedroom and bath. All of us really enjoyed it and will definitely try to come back again on our next stay in Fayetteville.

Beautiful and Comfortable

Clean large and private. This property is ideal for people who want more exclusivity and comfort with there vacations. The pool and hot tub were crystal clear. There is so much to love about this property but it's biggest appeal is it eliminates the need to leave for anything. It's all here. Family Reunion Heaven!

We had the perfect family reunion for 18 of us in this beautiful home! We especially loved the pool area and pool table/games. There was plenty of room to spread out and enough linens and supplies to be comfortable. We appreciated the prompt request for extra towels and the clear instructions for all the facilities that we used. Sitting on the porch is a must! This home was a central location for all of our families and we lucked out enjoying the celebrations at Fort Bragg for the 4th of July holiday. Thanks for the home and the memories we made there! (and thank you for accommodating an RV and a dog:)

Unforgettable

My family and I rented this beautiful home because my son was marrying a local girl and we are from Virginia. From the beginning of the first contact to the end (1 year), I received immediate responses to my questions and needs. The home was more than we could have ever dreamed of. My entire family (parents, children, grandchildren and sister) was able to be under one roof. The home and owner made this special weekend the cherry on the top!

Oh. My. Gosh!

This was the best VRBO experience ever! The host, Daniel, could not be more accommodating, responsive or informative. During the time between reserving the property and our stay, I had several questions, as I was planning a large family party for my friend's 60th birthday. Daniel responded immediately and was most helpful in the details of specific items we needed to make the party a success. This is an impressive home, that is apparently over 100 years old. The beauty of the home itself, with all of the original styled amenities and furnishings is eye candy for anyone who enjoys homes and architecture from this era. Additionally, however, they've done an amazing job of updating the home, incorporating all the bells and whistles, toys and games, and comforts of this age. There were 13 of us, aged 30 to 87, and there was something to do for everyone, and some place to sit or hang out that fit every personality. The pool and the pool house were central to our weekend, with everyone spending the days hanging out in or near the water and under the pergola. It is private and secluded, but very spacious. The bedrooms are large, with comfortable beds and private baths, and the kitchen is very well stocked. We spent mornings on the front porch with our coffee, and evenings playing games or in the hot tub. I could go on, but I'm out of space. If you need accommodations for 13 or more, do not hesitate to consider this home. You won't be disappointed!

Beautiful location!

We all loved the house and it was very clean. The owner was very responsive and always available!! Kids loved all the games console, board games and pool house. The hot tub was new for us and it was great experience!!! Overall it was pleasure staying at Daniel's house and we will try to come back when possible.

Everything we expected

Property was pretty perfect for what we were looking for. We had 9 adults and 8 kids. The kids were in the pool half the time we were there. Water was warm and clean. Poolhouse was a perfect place for the adults to hang out after hours. Kitchen was big and well equipped for all our meal prep and cooking we had to do. The ice machines in both fridges were a bit slow so we had to buy a bunch of ice and the flies/bugs were pretty rough outside by the pool. But shockingly, no bug issue inside at all. We are discussing another trip back, would highly recommend.

great company retreat

This was the perfect place for us to host our company retreat. The house accommodated everyone perfectly and there was plenty of space for us to have our group sessions, cook together, eat together and play games Having a house that could accommodate all of us versus staying in a hotel made our retreat an even better bonding and growth experience. Daniel was super responsive and available and made everything easy and great. Location was super convenient to the airport as well as the baseball stadium which we had the opportunity to go see a game.

Five-Star Fantastic Family Fun!

This was a fantastic property, with so much to do and so many options for our large extended family group ranging in age from 86 to 10 months. It is charming, homey and so very comfortable. There are so many little touches that made this such a wonderful place to stay. From the pool toys and towels, the port-a-crib, the fabulous cookware, awesome beds and bedding. the curl up and read a book couch to the wrap around porch perfect for afternoon iced tea and talks! And nicest of all was the great communication and caring by our gracious host Ashley. Thank you!

Perfect. Our stay was absolutely perfect. There was something for all of our kids to do even when they weren’t in the pool swimming. It had all the amenities of home, the pool house was perfect as we had a group of friends that came along with our family so that gave them the perfect place to separate and unwind. The house is beautiful, there’s a lot of things to do nearby including catching a Fayetteville Woodpecker game and a lot of beautiful golf. It was the perfect meeting ground for our Ohio family meeting up with our Florida family and wouldn’t have changed anything. Thanks for everything.

Best for kids

Beautiful house with so much for the kids to do. They were hardly out of the pool and hot tub. The adults enjoyed the shade of the pergola while watching to 5 kids in and around the water. Inside the pool table, foos ball and indoor theater kept the kids busy and happy! Apart from grocery shopping no one had any desire to get in the car and go anywhere. There was enough to keep everyone content. The kids are already talking about another family vacation next year! Thanks to the hosts who thought of everything!
