The biggest surprise to us at this vrbo, advertised as “luxury”, was the super thin (think tissue paper), 1-ply toilet paper. I find better, thicker toilet paper at gas stations and 7-elevens. That was definitely disappointing. We were also taken aback at how crumby the kitchen floor was at check-in (the cleaning crew must have skipped over that task), the stained, shabby-looking slipcover on the couch, and the stained dining table chairs. I realize that things happen, but that’s what I expect a cleaning crew to take care of. As one other reviewer mentioned — the street noise is one thing to note. Now, this is certainly no fault of the owner’s, but wow, the street noise was constant. Our stay was a Monday through a Thursday. Beginning in the early morning, and continuing into the late evening, it sounded like a busy race track outside the house. Finally, one thing to note and beware —the driveway is incredibly steep, and it is imperative to slowly creep in and out. We were in an SUV, so I imagine someone in a car could possibly scrape the bottom of their vehicle. Again, this is no fault of the owner’s. All in all, I give our stay a 4/5. It was fine, but it was missing the “luxury” experience for us.
