Enjoy our peaceful country setting with modern amenities just 5 minutes from downtown Aiken and Bruce's Field on a 2.3-acre estate complete with a horse run-in shed with turnout.
The cottage sleeps six with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. In the middle of the cottage is the great room with an open floor plan and high ceilings. This large communal space connects the kitchen to the dining and living area that opens to the outside deck where you can enjoy the beautiful tree canopy, bird song and horses grazing in the background. The atmosphere is relaxed and secluded yet you are only minutes away from downtown Aiken and Aiken’s Horse Park and polo fields.
During your stay you will have access to all modern amenities. The kitchen is fully equipped with brand new appliances. Laundry facilities are in a built-in closet by the kitchen. The cottage has beautiful cedar hardwood floors throughout. Get cozy with an electric fireplace in the living room, a fire pit outside and wood burning stove in the master bedroom.

The Black Sheep Cottage is perfect for equine travelers and for those looking for a unique stay. Convenient location to most Equestrian events. Bruce's Field is only a 5 min commute. Stable View is an 18 min commute.
Rates DO NOT include use of paddock and run-in sheds. For Paddock and Equestrian booking please contact host for fees and requirements. For equine booking please contact host. There is an added cost and rules for horses. Horses will enjoy a paddock and a horse run in shed with turnout during their stay.
EQUINE TRAVELERS:
* Message me if you would like to bring your horse.
* Each horse must provide their Vet paperwork and Coggins Test.
* $30/night for a horse (Includes a paddock and run-in shed).
* Property has a paddock and a run-in shed, plus a shady run-in for the hot summer
months.
* Equine travelers must provide their own feed.
* Must clean your own stall/paddock daily and return it to its original
condition.
* Wheelbarrow and pitchfork provided.
* Manure must go in the designated container behind the shed.
* $100 manure pickup fee or take it with you.

Excellent property!

We stayed at this property for two nights to go to the Masters tournament. This property was awesome! The check-in process was easy. The property is clean, well maintained, comfortable beds, great towels, and we would definitely recommend this and stay again.

Nothing short of amazing!

We stayed at Black Sheep Cottage during an Aiken Summer Classic horse show week and had the BEST stay. It's a short 5-10 minute drive to Bruce's Field so a very easy horse show commute and also in close proximity to all the great restaurants downtown. The cottage is stylish, immaculate and perfectly thought out. It's beautiful in every way and the owner was very kind and communicative throughout our stay. We can't wait to come back soon!

We really enjoyed our stay. Convenient to show grounds and very cute with nice decor, appliances and furnishings. Super clean and convenient to downtown and equestrian locations. Easy check in and check out process and great hospitality and communication.

Restful get-away

The area of this home is very quiet.....no road traffic at all. The location is extremely cozy yet it is easy to get to town or the grocery if needed. I would stay here again w/out hesitation.

Amazing!

Christine was absolutely wonderful, and thought of every little detail. This is one of my favorite air B&Bs I’ve ever stayed at. It was perfect for our 10 day yearly trip showing our horses down at all the eventing venues Aiken has to offer. We will absolutely stay here again next year!

Getaway with our horses to enjoy Aiken

The property was amazing!! You could not ask for a better house to stay in. The location was a 15 mins from all the places we rode. The paddock was great for our two horses. Christine was wonderful and answered any questions we had quickly.
