We very much enjoyed the pool and the hot tub and the fire pit. The layout was great for families and we enjoyed the multiple patio French doors that allow us to feel like we were outside in nature.

High Desert Getaway

El Coyote was a perfect high desert getaway. Great location, close to town but still felt remote and pretty private. Beautiful valley and sunset views, can't wait to come back!

The home is beautiful in person! The kids loved the pool, the jacuzzi was perfect for an evening under the stars and we utilized the fire pit to make s’mores, sooo goood! The location was perfect for visiting Joshua Tree National Park. There are also major retailers and chain restaurants nearby if you want convenience but really cute local shops if you explore.

The house is easy to access, cozy, and fully equipped with everything you may need. We truly enjoyed unique moments here thanks to its location. The view is stunning, and the hot tub made our stay even more enjoyable. There is a Walmart nearby (a short drive away). We also appreciated how welcoming it was for our dog, with bowls provided — a thoughtful detail that makes the place stand out. Overall, it offers a sense of peace and relaxation that makes you want to return.

Overall amazing home. Excellent location with gorgeous views. Can sit out at the pool area and watch quail families run around. Awesome infinity pool, even an outdoor shower. Gated area for fur kids while you swim or hang out. Beautiful back patio true Southwest that I so love. Beautiful bedrooms with comfortable beds and not overly decorated. Entire home is very clean. Short drive to Joshua Tree National Park. We didn’t get to use the fire pit or hot tub but we will be back. Owner and manager incredibly easy to work with and very accommodating.

We'll be back!

The home is well-appointed and well managed, and really felt like a welcoming space. We had everything we needed to cook several meals, which is fairly unusual in rental spaces. The saltwater pool was our favorite hangout; I love that there is a very shallow area with an umbrella, perfect for lounging in a chair with a book.

Our stay in the desert

Wonderful house. Very comfortable and clean. The pool was perfect in the daytime, and the hot tub perfect at night. Very few neighbors, and they were a good bit away, which allowed for privacy. Very close to town and stores, so you never felt too far gone to run out if you forgot something. Would stay here again, and recommend it to anyone without hesitation. Amazing sunrises from the hot tub!

Magnificent setting

This setting is really beautiful. The home is so comfortable . The pool and hottub are perfect! Sunrise, sunset, moon rise… you’re really living in nature. Highly recommend this property.

Clean, pretty, great view

We enjoyed our stay. Very pretty house. We had an issue with hot water but the manager's response was immediate and professional and took care of it with no problems. Would definitely recommend this property.

Beautiful, comfortable and great location!

Such a lovely home with beautiful views all around. Can't beat the location, so close to the park entrance. The house had everything we needed and the beds were more comfortable than the ones at home! Already looking forward to coming back for a future stay.

Desert Bliss

House was warm, cozy and a delight. Outside amenities (fire pit, jacuzzi, picnic table, etc.) were very convenient and enjoyable. House was located near entrance of the park, and we found some really good places to eat and have coffee nearby. I highly recommend a trip to Joshua Tree and this property.

Great spot!

We did a quick two nights during a crazy winter storm. While we stayed inside the entire time, we had a blast. Cozy fire, great kitchen for cooking. The pool is beautiful but we didn’t dare brave the cold and rain (and snow!) to take a dip. Would totally be back!

The four acres of desert vegetation are stunning. I feel in love with this property the first time I walked the grounds. The valley views give it a remote feeling, but the home is ideally situated minutes from town and the park. The house is airy with high ceilings. I added six French doors to this sundrenched home so guests can enjoy the beautiful views from every room. The infinity pool, the cedar spa, the firepit, the stargazing pit, the outdoor shower… all add to the transformative experience this property presents.
