Our host was extremely helpful and excellent to work with. We enjoyed the house and the location.This was a trip down memory lane for our now very large and busy family. We vacationed at Ocean Isle for years with our girls and now with all of our grandchildren and some of their significant others.

Very clean, kitchen well stocked, good space for family time. Pool is just the right size. Large outdoor table. We had a family of 14 adults 5 kids under 10. Plenty of room. Very close to the beach. Plenty of parking. The elevator was helpful with two elderly parents. Needed to contact the host by phone once. Extremely nice and very helpful.

Group family getaway

Great property! Ideal location for a large group; easy access to the beach; well-stocked kitchen; plenty of outdoor funiture by the pool; downstairs refrigerator came in very handy. Host was extremely responsive.

Great property with great views all around. Rented the property for my family’s yearly beach trip, and for the first time, no one had any complaints about the house! The property was well maintained, and the owner was prompt to respond to any minor issues. The only bad thing was having to leave! Would definitely recommend this property!

Great Vacation!

We had a lovely stay with our family celebrating my dads 70th birthday - the owner even left a cake for him! Chris was wonderful to deal with, very helpful and genuinely wants his guests to have a great time. We were very happy with our stay!

Beach house

Overall a very nice stay! The only downfall was the elevator in the house was not working and was hard for some family members to get up all the stairs. We absolutely loved the area and will return again.

Wonderful time for spring break

All ages enjoyed this vacation. For the non beach lovers the heated pool was a hit. Very short walk to the beach . Enjoyed the nightly sunsets and the deer. Loved having decks on all sides

Perfect spot

We’ve been coming here for years and it’s a perfect fit for our 18 person crew. He did pool short walk to the beach and very nice house. Book it early.

Fantastic Cottage

This is 3rd year we had my family reunion at this cottage. I’ve been renting ocean cottage for 40 years and this is by far the best. It’s has a lovely view, well furnished, and an owner who’s very accommodating. Overall a fantastic ocean cottage...

First time to Ocean Isle

The home was clean and the layout was good. They provided several amenities. The views and the location were excellent. The pool area was clean and provided lots of sitting space. The refrigerator on the bottom floor near pool was very convenient and a great addition. We would recommend this home and location.

Large House with Great views

Had 18 adults stay for a long weekend in September. Great views and a well-stocked kitchen for cooking. I rented many houses and this had the most coffee, spices, and kitchen supplies I have ever seen. Brian was a great host and communication was easy. Highly recommended.

Great Space

The host was wonderfully accommodating and communicative! We even had early check in. Plenty of space, plenty of pool/beach toys, comfortable beds. A huge plus was that there was an ice maker on bottom floor! We never had to buy bagged ice.

Nice place for a big family

Overall very nice. We had rented the house next door, and the day of check-in the owner informed us that the elevator was out of service. He got in touch with these folks and they were able to quickly help us.

Great house on OIB

We loved our stay here! The house has everything you need for a week or two of relaxing at the shore: beds were comfortable, most have their own bathroom, the kitchen has all the pots, pans, and utensils you could need. The kids loved the pool, especially the outdoor TV. We also spent most of the day at the beach which was easy because the walk is short. We had a couple questions throughout our stay and the host was always quick to respond. In short, there's no doubt we'll stay here when we come.to OIB next year.

Papa's Porch

Another year under our belt at Papa's Porch! 7 dad's and 11 daughters. Can't ask for a better location with perfect views. Chris was super responsive and made sure everything was in place for our arrival. Highly recommend it!
