Amazing Place

Place here was very new, very fresh, and a very comfortable experience! The color and theme of the place was perfect in my opinion. Options provided with this place is welcome for any age range comfortably. Lovely neighborhood and view! Place exceeds expectations, and will only improve!

The homeowner has been incredibly kind, communicative and accommodating. I used this property to house a small crew of biologists while they work in the area and they have really enjoyed the modern home, beautiful location and picturesque views of the columbia river gorge. Thank you so much for your graciousness and help throughout our stay!

The Best Place To Stay in The Dalles, OR

I can not say enough good things about this property or the owners. 1700 Oakwood is exactly as it looks in the photo: sparkling clean, bright, beautifully decorated and quiet. The views from the living area and porch are stunningly beautiful. The owners, D & L, are magnificent. They take great pride in their home and are immediately responsive if there is an issue. We've since become close friends. The only negative, as far as I was concerned, is I didn't;t have enough time to explore The Dalles. While it appears like it's in desperate need of renewal, there is a hidden side to the town that includes a wonderful breakfast/sandwich shop on 10th St with a great outdoor patio and a rear alley, Prohibition-like hidden entrance bar with mixed drinks of every type and great wood-fired pizza!

A Great VRBO

This home is in a nice quiet neighbor with great views of The Dalles and Washington. Watched the 4th of July fireworks from the porch. The house was immaculate. The owners did a wonderful remodel that is contemporary and bright - with a beautiful stone island and separate coffee bar. They are also very very accommodating and responsive, from the initial check-in to addressing any issue that arises. A wonderful place to stay for enjoying the Columbia River Gorge!
