The cabin is nice, its small. It was just me and my husband so it was fine. No bathroom upstairs where the bedrooms are. Im 60 so if you need a toilet close by you may not like that its down the spiral stairwell. iThe cabin is all the way up to the top of the mountain, so if you want convenience you may want something closer to town. We enjoyed our stay.

The property was great! It was very quiet out there and the cabin was super clean. The beds were comfortable and the decor was cute and on theme for a little cabin! The road to get out there was to be expected for an off the beaten path cabin, but be prepared for the windy/bumpy roads. We saw some deer and other wildlife from the porch in the morning. Would return and stay again if we need to come back to the area.
Super cute little cabin in a very quiet spot. It was about 35-40 minutes from most things but I don’t think that’s bad!
The gravel trail to get there was a little rough but we made it with our front wheel drive sedan. May be difficult without AWD different times of the year. Our dog had a good time also!😊
We very much enjoyed our stay. It was a bit off the beaten path but the setting was very private. The internet / WiFi worked well. The beds were very comfortable. I would stay here again should I be returning to the area.
We had a great two week vacation at the cabin. The cabin was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the walks out in the woods with the dog. I really enjoyed being able to do some target shooting in the back yard. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a wilderness getaway.
My husband wanted a cabin in the woods and this cabin didn't disappoint.
Exceeded our expectations and even our 5 pound Chihuahua loved it.
The owner also had no issues extending our stay by an extra day.
Peaceful, relaxing, many trails nature at it's Best!
The cabin was exceptionally clean and had everything my husband and I needed for the long holiday weekend. While service was spotty, the wifi was fast and the owner was incredibly helpful with directions to get to the property and gave a few suggestions on things we could do in town. If we come through that area again, we will 100% stay there again.
My love and I spent Valentines Day weekend in this quaint, remote location. It is void of noise and light pollution. The stars are so close and bright you feel you can reach them. It was a truly romantic get away. I highly recommend this property. Well appointed and stocked. Tastefully decorated with all the amenities. 5 stars!
We loved this little cabin’s isolation and cleanliness. Lots of fun activities in the local area, especially for an adult’s weekend away. I would suggest a truck for the ride up the mountain, especially in inclement weather, but you can do it in a car if you need to. The only complaint is the size of the hot water heater and shower. Neither are something that would prevent us from staying again.
This property is very secluded. Exceptional condition. Everything you would need is supplied by owners! We suggest shopping for groceries before going up the mountain. The cabin is pretty far up the mountain. We had a very relaxing weekend. The weather unfortunately did not participate. We did truly enjoy the fire pit when weather was nice. Rained next few days, but it was cozy staying in and watching movies and enjoying the views out all the windows!
Super accommodating!
If you love being out in nature this is the cabin you need. Only sound was the woods. And we loved it! No traffic, no neighbors, Just don't forget anything at the store it's a long drive out and back.

House was cute and the beds were very comfortable. Couldn’t get windows or door open upstairs that led to decks. Only one bath and it was downstairs away from the two upper bedrooms where there was only a privacy screen between. Steep spiral staircase to bedrooms.
My husband and I needed a getaway that was close to home and away from crowds. Boy did we find it with this cozy cabin in the woods. Well stocked kitchen, clean cabin, great firepit, porch overlooking the woods for morning coffee. We were able to visit nearby apple orchards and did some anitique shopping in Elijay. A great place to relax and enjoy time together with short hikes with our dog. Responsive host. What more could you want?! We will be back.
This cabin was a beautiful location in the mountains and woods! Had privacy for sure! Our 2 small Pomeranians loved the outdoors! The cabin was so cozy and clean! I left my I- Pad! But I called the owner and he said he would mail it to me! We are planning to reserve this cabin again! Thank you for sharing your cabin with us for our Anniversary!
Perfectly clean cabin, very private location, awesome fire pit. The cabin has excellent extras. The wifi was great. Thanks for great stay!

Off the beaten path
House was very nice and secluded. Listed as a two bedroom but not really. We have known the other couple we traveled with for awhile so was not much of an issue for us, but be warned. Bedrooms are separated by a curtain and have little to no privacy.
The property itself was amazing. Just a cozy little cabin tucked away high in the mountains. The road is a little rough in a couple of spots, so definitely wouldn't make it there with a low-to-the-ground car. We saw lots of deer while we were there!
Location is great, secluded, right next to the national forest. The cabin is cozy and comfy. I would recommend a 4x4 as it was sketchy getting up the mountain drive in my car after the rain. The only other thing worth mentioning is that the water heater does not allow for anything but a quick shower. Found this out the hard way when I set the coffee pot with the water running before my morning shower, the hot water ran out before I could get rinsed off.
Overall a good stay and a very nice location.
Everything was great. It is a good place to go to getaway from the city and be in the tranquility of the forest. It is a good spot to be close with family or friends. Has all the basic needs. It's close to a couple of river tubing spots!
Place is very clean and comfortable. Every kitchen gadget you could possibly want. Beds are comfortable. Hitting the head (bathroom) at nite involves a crawl down the spiral stairs. Better be awake for this endeavor. Finding place could be a challenge without precise instructions ( which were provided by host). Don’t rely on your gps. Pet friendly is a big plus. We really enjoyed our stay.
This cabin was exactly what we were looking for! It was secluded and private, and we only heard a couple of cars on the road below the cabin the entire week. The trade-off is that it takes a while to drive back to town, but we were happy to take the extra time because of how nice the cabin and the location are.
We saw a few deer and other wildlife in the area but unfortunately did not see any bears - maybe next time.
We have vacationed in Blairsville for about 25 years, but have never stayed in Ellijay. It is definitely a very nice area, but we had mostly just driven through to get where we were going.
We took this trip with our adult daughter, and were very comfortable (the window AC units had a little difficulty keeping up, but no complaints other than that). Our daughter was happy to figure out the bigfoot pictured in the listing was from Expedition Bigfoot, and it wasn't actually in the cabin!
The kitchen had everything we needed, and the gas grill worked great. The cabin isn't huge, but we found it to be more spacious than the pictures made it look. The upstairs is just the two bedrooms (each with its own outdoor deck), and there was plenty of space in both. A curtain divides the two rooms. The first bedroom at the top of the spiral staircase has a sitting area.
FYI, There are several exterior security cameras around the property that were not mentioned in the listing.
The next time we head to the mountains, this is the cabin we will be staying in!
