The Casa Iris is located 5 minutes walk from the main squares of the city, recently renovated with excellent taste, and high-level finishes.
It is fully equipped with the most modern technology, with robust 300 Megas internet, with home automation and RF touch switches, electronic thermostatic showers, touch taps, 58"4K Smart TV with Netflix Premium, induction stove, combined oven, etc.
The exclusive space in which you will stay is the beautiful Depa Gaia, which is one of the 5 apartments or studios that are in Casa Iris. It has 3 bedrooms, each with a Queen size bed, a bathroom with shower and sink, a desk and a closet. The Gaia apartment also has a living room with a smart TV and a sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen area, a dining room, and a WC. It is ideal for large families or for 3 couples, or it is also suitable for up to 8 guests using the sofa bed for short stays. You will have a separate free parking place.
Apart from the apartment, you will be able to enjoy all the beautiful outdoor areas of the Casa Iris that are shared areas with various equipment for an incredible stay.
Casa Iris shares all the outdoor areas that are freely accessible to all our guests. We have 2 terraces + 1 very spacious Roof garden, that is decorated with excellent taste for an incredible stay. You can, at your choice, enjoy the sunset in the jacuzzi with hydromassage, or exercise your mental skills and achieve checkmate on the giant chess board, or work very hard in the hammock, or live and share with your friends a tasty cheese accompanied by a bottle of Queretano wine on the decks of fine teck wood.
At the end of the contingency, we will also open our coworking area where you can make use of various office equipment and a meeting room.
Casa Iris also has a laundry-drying room with laundry service available (extra cost), and a parking lot for one car for each of the apartments. (Caution: Entrance is high. Low cars could have difficulties to enter).
-The Casa Iris is powered by integral solar energy with photovoltaic panels and solar thermal collectors that cover 100% of the energy consumed. So with your stay with us, you will have the great feeling that you have contributed to reducing the carbon footprint of your trip as much as possible.
- For stays of 5 days or more, it is mandatory to hire an additional cleaning service for every 3.5 days, which includes renovation of amenities, fresh towels, etc ... See details and additional costs in our rules.
-If anything is missing from your accommodation, do not hesitate to request it. Our only motivation is to have everything you could need in the department and to achieve your complete satisfaction. We will probably be able to fulfill your request very quickly.

The property is older than the pictures display. It is a good location for el centro. Relentless barking dog at night. We had to have windows open as no ac in bedroom. Although they have advertised hot tub the jets didnt work and we were told at check out that there was an additional fee.

Came to work for the week with 2 friends, and the water was hot, the shower pressure was decent, and the apartment was clean. Evelyn, the housekeeper who handled check in was friendly. However, we experienced issues with lights, computer chairs, the front gate lock and the refrigerator during our stay, and they were all known issues getting bandaid-type fixes. The apartment got very hot and stuffy at night, even with the provided fans in each bedroom. Opening the front door helped a lot with cooling the apartment down, but tons of mosquitoes came in, forcing us to close the door. Installing a screen could help with this. The location of this property was about a 10-15 minute walk to Centro. The street was quiet during the day, but nights were incredibly loud with a neighbor's dog barking and karaoke parties at the hotel next door. Sensitive sleepers beware; our earplugs could not drown out the the sound fully. At first the wifi was great, but on the 3rd day the wifi assigned to Depa Gaia kept going in/out, making Zoom calls impossible. We eventually had to go to coffee shops or use our cellphones as hotspots because even the other wifi's on the property had issues. This continued for the rest of our stay. (And just fyi, the listing says the wifi speed is 300 mbps but I did a speed test and it was consistently 60 mbps—when the wifi worked, that is.) Overall, it's an okay place for a short-term stay. But I would not stay longer than a few days.

I have lived in England, New Caledonia, Belgium, Mexico, Brazil, the United States and I have visited some 30 other countries, as a tourist or business traveler. After a long time traveling, I fell in love with the city of Queretaro and here we ended up making roots 15 years ago with my family. If you wish, I would love the opportunity to share our life and travel experiences. I always love hearing the travel stories of others, and even more of places where I have not yet had the opportunity to visit. Life is beautiful, and traveling it makes it more enjoyable.

The Queretanos recommend always walking slowly in Queretaro. Observe the colonial buildings, enter an impasse, stop for a moment,... observe more, enjoy the moment, ...observe the people, imagine our past, live the life, dream ..., travel ..., enjoy this jewel that is the historic center of Queretaro .... The Plaza Corregidora, the Jardin Zenea or the Zocalo are all priceless jewels of our heritage.
