The property was beautiful and well kept. Cute decor and plenty of plush bathroom towels. The view was amazing and the unit had good parking. The host was very responsive to texts. Highly recommend this property!

Mermaid’s Perch turned out even better than what was in the pictures. The location was fabulous over looking the ocean. The screened windows and sliding glass door allowed for a beautiful view and a great breeze throughout the house. Highly recommend and would plan to stay here again in the future!

We stayed at Mermaids Perch just this past week! What wonderful home with spectacular views! It’s conveniently located for state parks, golf or just about anything you’d want to do. The heated floors in the bathroom were great for our stay as the temps were on the cool side. Dedicated parking is a definite plus!

Weekend Trip

We enjoyed our weekend trip to Monterey and our stay at the mermaid house. Clean, updated, quiet condo with close proximity to the beach. Will stay here again if it's available next time we visit the area.

Great stay and fantastic view!

The condo has a great view and we watched an amazing whale display for several days! Very close to the beach - within walking distance if you don’t mind an uphill climb. Property manager was great and would love to stay again!

Great For A Girls Weekend

Nice condo with great views of the ocean. Location is fantastic, walking distance to everything. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms and kitchen were nice. Could use a little paint touchup but overall very nice place to stay.

This place is amazing! Non-stop beach views. Listen to the ocean all day and all night. Beautiful, perfect sunsets every evening. Every room has mermaid accents; adorable, but not tacky. The kitchen was fully stocked, with high end appliances. Open all the windows and sliders if its warm, turn on the fireplace if its cold. This place has everything you need for a perfect beach getaway. I will be returning to this little gem.

We had a fantastic weekend at the Mermaid’s Perch this past weekend, 9/25-9/28/25. Gorgeous views, comfortable and clean. A short walk down a hill to the beach. We saw dolphins and whales from the deck. Kitchen is well stocked. We would love to return soon. We also had a fun time using the pool.

Aptos Family Trip

Location and views were amazing. Lots of windows to look out over the beach and ocean. The property was clean and fully stocked with any supplies we might need. The layout of the bedrooms could be a bit awkward with younger children.
