This custom home is located in West Sedona with breathtaking views of Cathedral Rock, Pyramid Rock, and Thunder Mountain. This is an open, airy, clean, serene retreat with 3 large outside seating areas to experience the changing colors of “Sedona at Sunset.” Enjoy a 10 minute walk to Crescent Moon State Park and National Forestry trails across the street for hiking. Within 2 miles visit Red Rock State Park or the heart of Sedona with restaurants, shops, and sporting activities. Please read the reviews that other travelers have posted.
THE HOUSE:
The ground level has an open floor plan which includes a living room, workspace, dining area, kitchen, bedroom (full bath/queen bed), utility room (washer/dryer), and carport for one car off the kitchen. The workspace has a desk, a comfortable computer chair, and a new SCHWINN C130 upright stationary bicycle.
Parking is at the carport or the back of the house. All kitchen appliances are GE installed in 2020. Front-load Samsung washer and dryer installed 2020. All American Standard high raised, elongated toilets installed in both bathrooms. 2022, Lazy Boy, leather recliners which extend to a sleeping position.
The upper level has the main bedroom, walk-in closet, full bath with a spa tub for two, 35-foot wrap-around deck with a full view of Cathedral Rock. Great area for stargazing. The air conditioner is a window unit in addition to central air on the second floor.
OUTSIDE: 3 large sitting areas with breathtaking mountain views, fencing, Monthly landscaping, and exterminating services are provided by the owner. No trailers, large trucks, or large vans are permitted on the property. Check the large box at the side patio for outdoor cushions for the furniture.
WI FI: We have increased our internet speed with OPTIMUM, which has an unlimited data cap, meaning renters can access the internet and zoom. As for myself as a college professor, teaching online with Zoom and Canvas, there is no buffering for virtual classes. If you are a renter allergic to wi-fi, perhaps another home will satisfy your needs. Btw, all local and domestic calls are free of charge on the landline within the USA,
CABLE TV: ONE WIDE SCREEN TV with many stations and music as well.
HOUSEKEEPING: Extra measures are taken with cleaning and disinfectants. We replace and use washable pillows. Pillow and mattress covers, comforters, blankets, and bedding are cleaned between bookings. No feathered, down comforters or pillows. Before you leave, return the house key to the front door lock box.
Air and heating filters are replaced on schedule. No pets, smoking of any kind, incense burning, or use of strong oils that permeate the home are not permitted. Renters expect these quality standards to be upheld.
PRICING: The reservation calendar lists prices per night. However, if you request a monthly or extended stay, the owner is willing to renegotiate the price. If you are a returning customer, you will get a “family” discount!
