Three week getaway

Great location for access to Lake and amenities center. Condo was great for the two of us, both upstairs and downstairs decks have a beautiful view. Only drawback is both master and half bathrooms are downstairs.

Wonderful Time

This property was even better than expected and we had a wonderful time. While I know some people will look at the furniture and decide this unit isn't for them because it's not the NC cabiny look. However, if you do that you'll be missing out on a wonderful place. Everything about this unit is what we really wanted. The bed is very comfortable. It is well stocked with everything including great towels, which I looked for online to see if I could buy somewhere. The shower is very nice. The heaters in the rooms made it comfy on the cooler nights we had. We loved playing scrabble on the covered deck while getting a view of the lake and even staying dry when it rained. While I am not a big fan of always going up and down steps to use the bathroom and not always having phone service, the trade-offs of what we had for a good price were well worth it. We couldn't have asked for a better host and will definitely be interested in staying here again. PS when they say there are bears - believe them!

SAPPHIRE VALLEY RESORT amenities with golf course, indoor/outdoor pools, tennis courts, exercise gym, boating on Fairfield Lake, hiking, etc. The location is very convenient to local restaurants and shops,as well as close to Highlands, Brevard, Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The air is fresh and cool in the mountains. Get out of the heat and visit a beautiful area where you can enjoy the outdoors year round.
