Had a great vacation, condo was fantastic. Super clean, great view, everything you need is there for you. The balcony is huge, washed and dried clothes several times, cold fridge, several elevator's, and the owner made sure we were happy. Will be going back for sure!!!

The condo was incredibly spacious and had everything we needed for our week-long stay. I especially appreciated having two full bathrooms and the convenience of a washer and dryer. The very large balcony was a favorite spot—we enjoyed it whenever we weren’t on the beach. The location was perfect, with amazing pools right on site.Jim was absolutely fantastic to work with—easy to communicate with and full of great recommendations for places to eat and things to do. He went above and beyond when we accidentally left behind a watch. Jim contacted the next renters to see if they could find it. When they did he arranged to meet up with them to retrieve it, and then mailed it back to us.We would wholeheartedly recommend staying here, and if we return to Panama City Beach, this will be our first choice!

A Slice Of Paradise!

Jim was great and very communicative host right from the beginning after paying. I had his phone number, so we could communicate directly, and he promptly returned each message. The condo was great! Clean, had everything we needed. The view was everything! My 10 year old loved the big tv's for end of day entertainment. We enjoyed the balcony and the view! The king size bed, was super comfy, i hated getting out of it. Loved having two bathrooms. This condo was perfect for our family. My daughter was already talking about our next trip down before we even checked out. I would definately recommend Jim and his condo! It was a great time!

The Condo and property owner were excellent

I lost a lot of sleep and was very, very irritated with the noise and rudeness of the high school graduates that were there this time. If I had any way of knowing that they were going to be there and being so loud and disrespectful, I would have booked somewhere else. This is the second time that I have booked the Condo I stayed at with Jim Rink, and he is very thoughtful and accommodating. But having the crowds of high school graduates and there behavior and the police being there every night trying to calm them down was disappointing.

The condo was very clean! Was a great location! Steps from the ocean! They had a great outside pool! It was cold so we couldn’t get in but the hot tub was great!! We would stay there again!!

Annual vacation trip

The condo provided what was needed for our stay. We liked the location of the resort and ability to walk to shops and restaurants, and the resort staff were friendly and maintained the property well. But the size of the resort, the many floors, and the crowded and slow elevators made our trip less enjoyable. Also the narrow parking garage with many large vehicles made it challenging to maneuver around the structure. All and all we enjoyed our trip and would consider staying at this site again but would recommend a much lower floor than floor 17. And perhaps in a less busy time of the year.

The Shores of Panama

We enjoyed our stay minus the very hot elevators with long waits for them. Definitely something to consider but the great location and amenities offset that. The unit was excellent and the pool was wonderful. Even with over 650 units the pool is very large and accomadated huge numbers of people without seeming crowded. We went the week before July 4th and the beach was very crowded but still nice. There were double red flags 5/7 days with many rescues etc due to people ignoring the warnings. The huge pool really helped.

Good get away minus so much police presence

I would say everything related to the room was spot on as described. The resort was up to par as pictured. As far as some others complaints about staff, i found them helpful abd straightforward. Not overly nice, kinda had the vibe that they were enjoying having to be at work. But hey, i dont always either. So, could have been nicer but they werent rude, just straight forward. About the Elevator, its a huge resort,going to be a lot of people. We found there were certain ones better at certain times. And it wasnt so bad. Also that we split part of our vacation so that its halfway out of busy season.

Good and bad

The Good The View was amazing as well as the location and spaciousness of the condo. The bed no information was given from the owner such as garage key code having to contact him before getting information about the condo time to check in or out. There was no door to the master bathroom.

Nice place.

Not are best trip but was fine. Pros Location was good close to Walmart and food. Resort was nice with good amenities. Condo was clean and safe. Cons Only can park one vehicle and it’s on the 12 floor so lots of driving in a circle up and down. Takes several minutes and you will get dizzy. When you arrive you have to pay 80 dollars for a parking pass and resort fee, this was not in original listing. Room only has sheets and thin blankets, no comforter on bed and very few flat pillows. Over not my worst experience but could have been better with a few changes.

Not a true three bedroom

Do not go expecting to have 3 bedrooms the third bedroom is actually the living room. Living room but it’s an open floor plan so it’s also your kitchen and dining area. We like the open kitchen with living room and eating area, but didn’t expect it to be our children’s bedroom. The bunk room would be better if it actually had bunks in it. Instead, it is a single bed with trundle that you have to roll in and roll out. But before you push back in, you have to take all the bedding off or it does not fit. The pull out single also takes up the remainder of the space in the bedroom. So you can’t even get into that area to use the second bathroom. Kitchen was not fully stocked as mentioned and a baking sheet had to be purchased to cook in oven. And good luck trying to cook your family breakfast with one frying pan. There is absolutely no privacy in the master bathroom. In the bed specially place, so you get woken up nightly by your significant other when they have to use the restroom . Well if you are a stairs climber this is the place for you. They might advertise six elevators, but only three work at any given time. Be prepared to climb up and down 17 flights or wait at least an half hour each time. Not to mention there’s no air vents in the elevators in your crammed in there with 12 people all their beach stuff for a 10 minute sauna ride. Hot tub monitor makes people get out of the hot tub after 15 minutes and stay out for an hour. And the beach is trashed daily!!

It was great to wake up and look out over the water. A few days there were dolphins jumping in the clear turquoise water. The beach is beautiful with soft sand and calm water. There are several good restaurants within walking distance. We did take the car out a couple of times but you woldnt reall have to if you didnt want. One suggestion i would make to anyone is to park on the lower floors. You will take the elevator in any case and the drive up and down from the top is dizzying. Great place to stay. Super comfortable beds.

The property was amazing and had great views of the ocean and pool. We had everything we needed there for our weeks stay. Jim was very responsive and helpful when needed. The only issues we had was the resort elevators being packed all the time and taking long amounts of time waiting. The parking was also very bad at the resort. Other than those 2 things the condo itself was clean and beautiful.

The condo was very spacious and clean. King size bed in the master was comfy. Having 2 full size bathrooms and one with a washer/dryer was great. The balcony was also very spacious with plenty of seating and even a lounge chair. Amenities were great- huge pool and hot tub. My only complaint is the Shores of Panama elevator wait times- which is not the condo owners fault. Jim was great to work with and made sure we had everything we needed!

Shores of Panama visit

Nice privately owned unit at Shores of Panama. Host was very responsive to all my questions and had some nice tips for staying there. Would definitely stay in the unit again.

I am the owner manager of this my 3rd condo .I am A Christian who grew up in the mid west, served a tour of duty in Vietnam after working 35 years as a Boilermaker & retiring, certain family needs changed so we made the big move from Sullivan/Terre Haute Indiana to Panama City Beach, so now We call this home and can not leave here for long living on the beach is paradise and very close to God's unchanged creation for me! This is our 3rd condo and we live a few mins away from the resort, i have always enjoyed sharing my things with others, so i hope you enjoy what could be your paradise too! Remember my condo is not a party room! Is a wonderful place to relax, sleep and enjoy the beach!

Why they chose this property

This was the Newest and Best resort when I 1st came here in 2008! IT IS STILL THE BEST! You will enjoy the pool area the most, everyone comes here just to take special photo's, being next door to Pineapple Willy's is priceless! 2 other restaurants are close by too, Sunrise Café & Bakery and the All American Dinner with a great morning buffet. You can see how close the Super Walmart is also in the photo's
My condo is available to sleep the most and cost the less! I pay for the cleaning, so please leave my unit as you found it for another family coming in that same day to create their special memories!. You can park in any of the non-reserved spots with yellow marker with a parking pass, But my 1 reserved spot is on the top floor of the parking garage 5 floors below the condo, So If you're looking for an extraordinary combination of beautiful emerald green waters and a deluxe condo on panama city beach, look no further. People come to panama city beach for the pearly white sand, enjoyable year-round weather, championship golfing and excellent fishing.
Enjoy breathtaking sunsets, watch & hear the surf rise and fall, and engulf yourself in total relaxation that only this unit can provide! The beach will be the heart of your vacation, but the attractions near majestic resort will keep you busy for days. From shopping to snorkeling, or just walking the beach to the clubs and restaurants one way to the 2 piers the other way including pier park if you are a long distance walker!
