Very nice cottage. But, it had 2 queen beds instead of the one king bed in the listing.

Thank you. It was a pleasure hosting you. I double checked our listing & it never was listed as a King bed. I wonder if perhaps you looked at another cottage and then clicked this one when you booked? We would love for you to return and appreciate you as a guest.
We loved everything about our stay. We arrived early and it was no problem. We loved the cottage! It was quaint, clean, comfortable and very functional. We were able to prep and cook meals easily with the kitchenette and grills. We love the location and the easy access to all the sites! We highly recommend “The Cottages” Melissa and her team are doing a great job with the place!!

The pleasure was all ours! Thank you for the kind words. We look forward to your return!
The little cottage was perfect. The grounds were decorated and well-groomed for the season (Halloween theme). It is conveniently near the Cotton Valley Rail Trail so it's a short walk to most everything. I would definitely plan a longer stay next time.
This rental location is perfect for both introverts and extroverts. It was extremely clean and convenient. Loved having our own private courtyard, assigned parking, grill, entrance, etc. Loved that my dog was able to stay with us and loved walking him through the neighborhood.
Location was convenient. It is a cottage so not very large. Great for a place to sleep. Bathroom was small and took a while for hot water in the shower.

I am very sorry you were disappointed in the size of the cottage. Our floor plans are available prior to booking. I reached out to our plumber regarding the hot water. This cottage has a brand new Rinnai unit under warranty. I would have had the plumber out during your stay had we known about the delayed hot water. Best of luck in the future
Though I did not stay there myself, the cabins were the perfect spot to house various branches of my family. Long distance communication with Melissa and the in-person interactions with the lovely staff on site was all easy, timely, clear, smart, friendly & very sympathetic when an issue arose with one of the visiting pets. These are the nicest people in the world, and well as fabulous hosts and managers. The cabins themselves are perfect: clean, cozy, full of lakeside character. Lots of amenities. Beautiful grounds. Honestly, could not think of a more perfect spot. Top recommendations!

Thank you Jane for the kind words. We hope you will stay with us again.
We had a lovely stay at the Cottages and feel as though we found such a GEM of a place. We definitely hope to come back! It was absolutely perfect for us and the attention to detail was truly amazing. We appreciated the kitchenette to cook in. The outside sitting area was so perfect! We LOVED how close to the downtown area of Wolfeboro it was--the location is perfect. Nice and quiet, which we also appreciated. Thank you SO MUCH!
