"Hangar 22" - Foxtail Orchards, Inc

This is the first of its kind on the East coast, and its right here in VA!! This cabin is called an Arched Cabin and its technology and materials come from Cypress, TX.

Our cabin is on Route 16 otherwise known as the Back of The Dragon, near Hungry Mother's State Park, a winery and some great family owned dining. You’ll love our cabin because of the quiet serene setting, the view, and the ability to completely relax. It located near many outdoor activities such as hiking and fishing.
The space
This cabin rental comes with your own private picnic area, fire pit, mini bar and charcoal grill, microwave, refrigerator and stove.

There is also a second and a third rental near this rental available on Airbnb as well, "The Fox Den" and "The Iron Horse" is also rented thru Foxtail Orchards, Inc.

Amazing Getaway!

My wife, son and I booked this location rental while viewing some investment properties in the area. We were looking for something unique and this property delivered. Beautiful site, amazing views and great hosts. Matt (one of the owners) stopped by to check and ensure we had everything we needed, which we did. With that said, it's nice to know someone was looking out for us while we were in a new area. Well decorated and supplied rental property. A pretty significant winter storm came and snowed us in the morning we were set to head home. By the time I reached out, Matt had already blocked off the rentals on the property so we had a place to stay and wouldn't have to travel in poor conditions. We highly recommend giving this rental a try. Past first responder owned and operated. Matt and Amy will take great care of you while you enjoy this undiscovered gem in VA!

Overcharged

I would like to give this rental a good review however, I’m extremely disappointed with the way our payment was handled. I booked this rental well in advance for my niece’s wedding on September 24th and knew there were only a limited number of places to stay that were located close to the venue. At first Matthew was very friendly until I changed my booking to stay one less day, we stayed 3 nights. I was not credited for one full night, actually only a fraction. I questioned Matthew about the amount I was credited, he then asked me to cancel my reservation and rebook, which I did. Still just a fraction of the refund. I don’t think it was handled properly. Matthew then proceeded to tell me it was not his policy but VRBO and he does not have any room as far as his cost for the rental. What does that even mean? Also, my reservation change was well before the date of 100% refund. At that point I did not want to cancel my reservation in fear that I may not find anything else. If renting this place, be sure of your dates so you don’t lose money as I did.
