Elk Creek Retreat is a brand new two bedroom (both master bedrooms), two bath cabin on a rushing trout stream and 8 acres. If you are looking for a stream side cabin you will not find a better location anywhere. Elk Creek Retreat is located on Elk Creek which has excellent trout fishing, is a State stocked trout stream, and is rated as the second cleanest stream in all of North Carolina. Open the windows and fall asleep to the sound of the stream which runs directly behind the cabin. Amenities include hot tub, Wi-Fi, fireplace, grill, outdoor fire pit, and plenty of decking that overlooks the stream. The location is convenient to both Boone and Blowing Rock both within about a 25 minute drive.

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys

We kindly ask that you please take all trash to the convenience site prior to checking out. The nearest convenience site is located about 5 miles up the road when you take a right exiting the driveway

Here are the site hours: Mon, Wed, Fri 6:30am-7pm Sat 8am-7pm Closed Tues, Thurs, Sun The site closes 1 hour earlier Oct-April

If you aren’t able to take the trash to the convenience site, we kindly ask that you leave a small tip for the housekeeper and she can take it for you. Thank you very much and safe travels home!
