Evergreen Hideaway is located very close to the newly redone Lake Lanier Olympic Park with year round activities. Mapping that park will give you a great idea on distance. This is also the closest boat ramp. Laurel Park ramp is also near by. We are just a short drive from downtown Gainesville that has year round activities.

Upon booking, you’ll receive our digital guidebook that will have the number to a friend who offers a deeply discounted pontoon boat rental to our guests, based on availability. Also, we have partnered with a few others in the area to offer our guests discounted boating and jet ski rates.
An inviting entryway welcomes you to Evergreen Hideaway GA. A welcoming living room with sleeper sofa and plenty of seating for movie nights on the large 65" smart tv with direct tv stream. Dining table with seating for up to 8. Gorgeous updated gourmet kitchen with high end finishes and double oven. Well-equipped for making meals at home. Charcoal grill on downstairs patio. Guest room with queen bed and smart tv. Guest bathroom with frameless shower. Kids bunkroom with 2 sets of twin over full bunk beds with smart tv and ps4 for the kids. Master bedroom with en suite that has double sinks and frameless shower and a king bed with plenty of room upon request for pack n play if needed.
The screened in porch is perfect outdoor living space with gas starter wood burning fireplace. Also has smart tv with firestick. For outdoor dining, the patio table expands. Exterior patio for grilling and watching wildlife. A short sloped walk leads to the single slip covered boat dock with kayaks for guest use. Dock your boat or swim from the dock with swim ladder.
There is a washer and dryer in the walkout basement.

Upon booking you will receive a link to our digital guidebook which has info on a deeply discounted boat rental, based on availability so call quickly. The guidebook has more pics of the house with videos and area recommendations. It can be saved to your mobile home screen so you have access to us anytime.

Please be respectful to our neighbors and note quiet hours of 11pm to 7am. We are a place for a family to gather but not a party house.

You will have the whole house and dock to yourselves. We are only a call or text away if you need anything. We have kayaks for your use. Outdoor items are used at your own risk. We do keep life jackets of various sizes at the dock and some in the basement but can't guarantee every size for every one. We do keep basic fishing tackle in the basement as well.

We don't believe in long check out cleaning lists as you pay a fee for that, so we post them here to prevent surprises. The digital guidebook will have how to info for the workings of things in the house including wifi and also a copy of check out info.

Outside is not covered under cleaning fee so please secure kayaks and remove any trash from the dock and patio areas. Please be courteous to next guest and clean the grill and patio fireplace if used. We do keep firewood for guest use so please let us know if we are getting low.

Bag all trash including fridge food and put in the can on the side of the house. The local business we use will get the can from the house so no need to move to street.

Start the dishwasher.

If bringing your pet please be sure to pick up pet waste.

Check to be sure you got all items.
