This home was an excellent place for two families attending a wedding. The home was very clean and had fruit, granola bars, and a wide variety of coffee flavors for breakfast. We enjoyed the private back patio also.

A Great Place

We had all the siblings and spouses in for the weekend and the Kansas Basketball game. The second year we stayed here. A great place!! Highly recommend!!!

Best stay ever!

Our hosts thought of absolutely everything. The house was clean, comfortable, well-stocked with toiletries, fresh fruit and wine, and was the perfect spot for our multi-generation family trip! Great location close to Lawrence and KU campus.

Great Place to Stay

We were in town for a volleyball tournament. This place was perfect, we stayed here with another family and there was plenty of room for us to all spread out and have our own space. The basement and backyard were great spaces for the kids! There are plenty of outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy mother nature.

High School friends ,Girls weekend

Everything about this VRBO was GREAT! We had 9 women and we all were very impressed. The sitting areas inside and out were perfect for large or small groups. The host was very helpful anytime I had a question . The place was very clean and updated. Weekend Birthday Stay with Family

The property was wonderful. The home was welcoming, clean, spacious and had lots of fun activities such as foosball, poker table, ping pong, air hockey, work out equipment, big screen tv to watch the game with lots of other toys and games for the kids. My favorite room was the dining space that was large for a big group and was surrounded with beautiful windows and a forest surrounding you. Wonderful getaway with the family.

Loved the view and outdoor space. Plenty of room for group. A bit hard to understand floorplan and bedroom layout from photos. Had two questions for host but they were quickly resolved. Also the host allowed us an early check in which helped a lot. Would come back.

The property was awesome! It was a good location for what we were in town for. The property was very clean and tidy. Owners are amazing, they live close so any issues they can be there in no time to help out! The patio and deck are awesome! If going back to the area would definitely stay here! Check them out!

Wedding Weekend

Our son got married in the area. It was nice to be able to come back to a home that was relaxing each night. We also had all the groomsmen over for dinner two nights before the wedding and the property was perfect. They loved all there was to do (ping pong, air hockey, Wii, a big yard to play frisbee, etc) and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook for all the guys.

Bringing the new year in under one roof with my children and grandchildren

What I loved about this property was the big welcoming windows the beautiful decor and lighting. Breakfast food was available to help start your day to include fresh fruit, like a bed and breakfast. Everything one needed for a home away from home was here. This home really had everything including the outdoor furniture. I loved that it was very limited carpet and the entire place was roomy, it was 9 of us, ages 2,3, 14, and over 18. To top it off the Christmas trees (2) and decor was a very special added touch. I will always cherish the time spent here with my family, what a way to end one year and begin another. I highly recommend. Thank you for investing and taking pride in your property and the little touches that means so much.

Girl’s weekend

We are seven friends from high school (we now live in five different states) who get together once per year. This home was perfect for us. Ashley and Brian have created an amazing oasis in mid-Kansas for groups of all kinds! As a grandmother who plans the all-family vacation each year, I can assure you this home is perfect for all types of people needing a peaceful getaway. Here are some highlights: - The kitchen had everything you could possibly need! I have a ‘vacation rental’ box I typically bring and had forgotten it - it wasn’t needed! There were plenty of paper goods, cleaning supplies and typical condiments. - Such an impressive welcome! The fruit basket, snacks and wine made us want to come right in but the coffee bar made us want to stay! They thought of EVERYTHING! Wonderful variety of coffee flavors along with all those teas and hot cocoa. - The weather changed while we were visiting but the temp inside was remarkably consistent. Very impressive for such a large home. - We had a couple of minor questions during our visit. Both times we contacted the owners through the app. We had our responses within minutes. Literally. - There were two different sitting areas large enough for all seven of us to sit around and visit. The dining area seated us very comfortably with room to spare. - Plenty of towels! Frequent VRBO users don’t need to pack extra kitchen towels, either. Every one of us commented that we would happily stay again! Thank you!

Country Big-Gathering Perfection

The property was incredibly clean, spread out, immaculate and surrounded by a fence of trees. The owners had fruit waiting for us upon arrival and any questions we had, they responded quickly. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, knives, crockpot, coffee maker (individual kcups and pot), blender, cups and dishes. There was a fully stocked coffee bar with snacks. The property is expansive and has a cozy for front porch sitting at night watching the fireflies or gathering in the back around tables to eat, visit or play games. The grill came in handy while prepping large meals. There were fans in each room in case we were too warm. The towels appeared to be fresh and new. The owners had towels and toiletries on each bed upon arrival. Our college son and his friends loved the ping pong table, fuze ball table and access to the Wii downstairs. They may have stayed up late utilizing the poker table as well. We chose this property because of the size and proximity to Lake Clinton. We trailered our boat up from Texas and reserved a slip in the marina for the week so we didn't have to navigate the driveway each day. I would highly recommend this for any gathering.

35th Annual End of the School Year Trip

Maybe the best VRBO I have ever booked. The house is comfortably big for a large group. We had 10 women. Everything was clean. The host went above and beyond to provide unexpected treats, coffee, fruit, win, snacks,etc. The outside decks and patios provided an accommodating place to enjoy the beautiful view. We throughly enjoyed our stay!

Annual college friends Memorial Weekend

The house is fabulous! Not a detail missed (and I’m not exaggerating) ! Brian is a great guy. Ashley was out of town but wanted to tell her how impressed we were with her decorating! We stay in VRBO’s several times a year and this one takes top spot now! We had 7 adults and there was tons of space for us. If we go back to Lawrence we’ll definitely stay here again!
